My father passed away at this home. He was unhappy when he wasn't there. They let him enjoy his time. He was always supported and cared for. Always clean and tidy. Loved to sit in the garden. The staff I dealt with and the ones who looked after him were excellent.

My father was in the home for two months. He was nothing but cared for. He became stronger thanks to the care he received and was able to return home. The staff and management were all fantastic they went above and beyond for my dad and we as a family are truly grateful.

The manager went above and beyond, was approachable, fair and caring and never too busy to see us and deal with anything we brought to her. She pointed us in the right direction on many occasions supporting us all the way. I have to say originally Alexandra House was our second choice of care home but we were so wrong. There are not enough words to praise Alexandra House and everyone who works/volunteers there. We have no hesitation in recommending Alexandra House as no.1 care choice in Harlow.

My journey in care began in 2009, when I started working as a Care Assistant at Runwood Homes – Alexandra House. In February 2010, I proudly achieved my registration as a qualified Registered General Nurse and continued to work at Alexandra House until 2012.
Since then, my career has taken me on a rewarding path into management, where I’ve held a variety of leadership roles within the care sector.
