Everything at Humfrey Lodge is excellent. The staff is so kind and caring, and nothing seems too much trouble. The manager is lovely and always has time for a chat, whether it be about things in general or a specific concern. She is always helpful. The staff are always available when Mum needs help
in personal care or to get a cup of tea. It's just one big family. Thank you.

From the moment my mum moved into Humfrey Lodge, I knew we'd found somewhere truly special - I feel like I struck gold. Every member of staff is lovely, friendly, and genuinely caring. They treat her with patience and kindness, always reassuring her and giving cuddles, which she loves. Even unusual
questions - like "Can I join the army?" or "Where is my money?" - are met with humour and compassion.
As a family member, I deeply appreciate the warmth, humour, and understanding shown to me. They always smile, stop to say hello, and share how Mum is getting on. Knowing she is in such a lovely place has lifted an enormous burden from my shoulders. I can't thank the staff enough.

I went to see my friend today, and I have to say I thought Humfrey Lodge was absolutely stunning. Such incredibly helpful and such friendly staff, so clean and inviting, beautiful rooms, so airy and light. Lovely dining room, so many activities for your guests to enjoy, I would definitely recommend
to anyone and everyone! I really enjoyed chatting with my friend in her room.

Having a new manager has changed the feel and experience of the home. My grandmother is well looked after and always clean and well presented. I go every Wednesday to see my 96 year old friend. I have always had a very happy visit. The staff are great, always friendly, well mannered. The care my friend has is wonderful. I am always offered refreshments. The staff never interrupt my visit as it is very precious to my friend. My friend is very

Humfrey Lodge provides a warm, welcoming environment with professional and compassionate staff. My mum was treated with respect and dignity, and the facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
All of the staff are lovely, the place feels like home, and they keep everyone busy with fun activities.
It was a huge relief knowing my mum was is in such good hands.

My mother has been in Humfrey Lodge Care Home for the last 5 years, she is very happy and well looked after. The staff treat her with kindness and dignity. They are very approachable and answer any concerns I have regarding my mum. The home is well run due to good management who are always welcoming
on arrival. The residents do a range of activities which they enjoy, my mum loves to sing and the staff make a real effort with her.

Mum has been at Humfrey Lodge for almost 2 years, she is one of the younger residents at 75, and lives with Alzheimer's disease. Her needs have changed throughout this time, and the staff have supported and cared for her with respect and kindness. There are regular activities, and Mum is encouraged
to take part where she can, she particularly enjoys the guest music entertainers, and the family social events, of which there are many.
As a family, we have found the Humfrey Lodge to be supportive and they have helped us navigate communication with health care professionals and social workers. They were particularly supportive in the early months of Mum moving, and they appreciate that to move a loved one into a care home is a challenging time for everyone involved.
We particularly appreciate being able to visit Mum at any time, and being able to take along our dog, which Mum finds comforting. Mum enjoys the home cooked food, which includes traditional favourites and delicious puddings.

We visit a close friend on a regular basis and from what we have observed is residents are treated well, and there is always somebody that you can speak to or ask for help. It is very clean. Asked about value for money on survey but that is not something we are involved in.

My dad was living quite a lonely life before he looked at the care home. He decided to give the home a 'trial' run, and that was a year ago. He really hasn't looked back since moving in. It has given him a new lease of life, loving all the activities and companionship. The home is spotless and the staff
are exceptional; they are professional, very caring and fun. He enjoys the trips out, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. He is very happy living there.

I have been very impressed with Humfrey Lodge staff. When we first made the enquiry and initial visit they were very helpful. Since my mum arrived they have been very encouraging and supportive. We have some experience of other care homes with different features and this has been far better.

My mum went into Humfrey Lodge initially for a period of respite care. From the outset, when I first visited to tour the home, the staff were incredibly obliging, helpful and supportive. Mum is now a permanent resident and is thriving in Humfrey Lodge. She has developed lovely relationships with the
staff - from the manager to the cleaners and every member of staff is always helpful and obliging. We are so delighted that mum has been fortunate enough to find a place and now settled at Humfrey Lodge.

My experience visiting Humfrey Lodge is mainly good although my mother would rather be at home which is probably common but impossible. The care and treatment she receives at Humfrey Lodge is without doubt the next best thing. The management are non-judgemental and extremely helpful. The carers have
a very difficult job, they go about their work with good humour, kindness and above all, patience and dedication. Overall the care home is good.
