Ashwood care home is very unique, residents are able to walk freely around, no keypad locks except on the front entrance. Residents have access to the gardens at all times, unlike some homes where they are stuck on the middle or top floor. Ashood is a huge bungalow with lovely well kept gardens. The
carers are so kind and the home is so clean. Carers actually show the residents the meals so they can more easily choose. Activities are very well thought out and for all ranges of ability. They keep me informed about all aspects relating to my mum. They are all so friendly and kind. Im so grateful for this care home, I have peace of mind, knowing my mums so well cared for. Fairly recently they appointed a new manager and she is fantastic, with an open door policy. I couldn't imagine my dear mum being anywhere else.

Friendly staff who care for the people with great empathy and devotion. They make sure they are safe happy and get to know the people living in the care home. Not a number but a person. Not an easy task but done with grace and devotion. We truly thank you for your support and caring skills.

For making my Mum's transition to a care home as positive and caring as possible. All of the staff were amazing in helping her settle into her new home. Nothing was too much trouble for all of the staff.
When I left to return home to Australia I left in the knowledge
that she is good hands.

My mum spent a number of years at Lancaster Court, throughout her stay the staff were caring and professional.
The building is modern, lots of parking for visitors. Residents dependent on their care needs have the opportunity to socialise and events are put on which is nice.

The team at Lancaster Court are superb. My sister is not the easiest and is very non compliant but all the carers have treated her so well and worked hard to win her over. Living abroad it was a comfort to know she was well looked after. My sister really wanted to return home but could not care for
herself and self neglected. Her carers made her feel comfortable and she came to accept that she was in the best place. My sister was happy and contented and I have the utmost admiration for the team at Lancaster Court.

Kindness, care and consideration best describes this home. My wife, who is a resident here, cannot walk, talk or feed herself, has been treated with love and care by all staff members, and I have had no concern for her wellbeing from the time she entered the home. Good standards of cleanliness have
always been maintained by dedicated staff who work extremely hard, having to deal with all residents' requirements and needs. The home is recommended.

Our Mum was a resident at Wisden Court and sadly passed away in January. She had dementia. She was so well looked after by all of the team and most importantly was happy there. Her room was lovely and the home was clean and beautifully decorated. We will miss calling in to visit. Thank you all so much

This is such a lovely care home, my mum struggled to settle in at first, but certain staff members made her feel welcome and with a warm heart, the care and support was ok, but at the beginning each shift didn't know what the other shift had done in helping my mum, which was confusing for me and my
family, only we kept asking questions we got most answers we needed, my mum was treated with dignity, most of the staff was ok, I just felt some just didn't want to be there. The room was lovely and clean, food and drink was ok, activities we was not appropriate for my mun as she was bedbound most of the time, safely and securely was excellent overall "Lancaster Court" was great and felt my mum was happy there.

My dad mostly enjoys his time in the home. Always has nice things to say about the staff. Especially on bath day. He really enjoys this. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My only downside is his room isn't big enough but that can't be helped.

My Mum was in Lancaster Court for just under a year. I cannot praise the staff and management highly enough for the care they gave my Mum. Mum sadly passed in January and spent the last few days of her life in Lancaster Court after we managed to get her back there after a stay in hospital. The staff
helped us to make Mums last few days comfortable and were supportive of us as a family too. Mum had a lovely room, and the staff are of a high calibre and perhaps the best thing was the longevity of the staff, with Mum living with Alzheimer's continuity was important to lessen confusion. The staff all seemed permanent and genuinely cared for the residents. Thank you for everything you did.

The staff at Lancaster Court are truly amazing humans.
Mum was cared for with so much love and attention for her entire stay.
Although she preferred to stay in her room, there were so many activities she could have experienced, including family days, entertainers, craft activities, BBQ's and day
trips.
The lounge and dining room were lovely places, with friendly, actively enabling carers on hand.
The rooms are warm and well presented and kept spotlessly clean.
Communication from the home was excellent. I lived quite a distance away but was always kept up to date with her health and well- being.
Thank you so much for looking after Mum the way you did. Forever grateful to you all.

I have been visiting my wife on Sandalwood level for six years. During that time I have found the staff to be a very pleasant and helpful. I trust them fully to always do the best for my wife and I am happy that I chose Lancaster Court as a safe place for her to stay. Because of my experience there

We were welcomed and immediately shown to our cousins' room, which was bright, nicely decorated and very clean. He had recently had been hoisted by staff and was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and engaged with other residents. He had a choice of meal and it was given with care and smiles
in his room. The nursing staff were attentive and would consult the district nurse on a concern. They engaged in conversation and were very polite. We couldn't fault the home and reasured by what we saw.
