I visited my uncle for his birthday the staff and residents made it a special day. It was good to see him looking so well. My uncle was admitted to the home when he became ill. The team are dedicated to give good care and go above and beyond to make a difference. From the housekeeping, catering and care team and any other staff member I would like to thank you for taking care of my uncle. He is very special.

Cannot fault the care our uncle receives. The ongoing activities are very good and they try to include everyone that wants to join in. The outside space is lovely and well used by all. Our uncle enjoys how flexible his care home is, and how family and friends are very welcome to visit and take him out.

Lunch time - Dinner ladies are required for an hour and half to allow staff to look after those who cannot leave their rooms. 6 staff (carers) for the whole floor is not enough.

6 carers is not enough, especially when, like my sister needs two carers to help her. Linch time takes away two carers, leaving four to feed others or attend to their needs.

Elaine and Sarah work increadibly hard to create a positive and supportive environment - Their efforts are totaly appreciated by all residents and residents guests. The lively and thoughtful program is imaginative and gives the residents something to look forward to. Well done!!!

Having looked after mum myself I was worried she would not adjust to life at Four Acres but the staff have been absolutely fantastic. They have done everything they can to help her settle in and make it feel like home for her. They have gone above and beyond and my mum is very happy there . She's made new friends and loves a bit of banter with the carers who treat her like she's their mum. They have shown great kindness and taken time to get to know her and what she likes. I have nothing but praise for their professionalism, compassion and respect for my mum.

From day one - staff picked up on his background and ensured that he was included in appropriate activities. Since moving, my father has thrived by having so many activities that he can undertake. He has also been taken on visits out which he has greatly benefited from.

The staff at Low Furlong are very kind and caring to my Dad, who has lived there for 6 years now. It is reassuring for the family to know he is so well looked after. They offer lots of different activities for the residents, which my Dad loves taking part in and helps him stay active.

The care and support that Low Furlong offers my father is outstanding. There is always a friendly welcome from any carer on either floor. Even the chef regularly says hello! There are various activities that support my father's mental health and physical wellbeing. The staff are engaging and highly committed to supporting their residents. From the management team, including the Aimee, administrative personnel plus senior carers and cleaners everyone makes you feel welcome. Thank you and you deserve an outstanding CQC award.

Elaine is absolutely fabulous always taking good care of the elderly people,including my nan,.everytime I see Elaine she is always so helpful and greeting with a smile.oh and lucy guild well she is just the best they both deserve a rise

Lovely care house. All staff friendly, polite and cheerful. Mum gets on with them all, she enjoys the activities. She has an infectious laugh so if other people are feeling low they soon laughing and she brightens the day up. Management and all staff are easy to talk to and answers any questions or concerns you may have.

The care shown to my mother was exemplary during her stay at The Lodge, especially in her final days when she was on end of life care and also celebrated her 100th birthday. Nothing was too much for the staff and they always went about their work with a smile on their faces. We relatives were also cared for as we spent many hours there. The lodge is a lovely place, spotlessly clean and mum always praised the quality of the food. The rooms are superior with excellent wet room/bathroom facilities. As a son of a resident I was very happy for mum to be here and felt she was safe and secure at all times. Thank you to all staff at The Lodge for being so understanding when mum passed away and the dignity afforded to her

However my impression is that the general standards of cleanliness e.g. regularly vacuuming the rooms, are slipping. This may be a lower urgency than caring for residents, but it is still a basic requirement.

It's clean, tidy friendly staff, good food, good management

My Husband became a resident 12 months ago after being looked after at home for 12 years by myself, without the care, understanding and all round support from all staff I am sure my husband would not be with me now. Its a lovely, welcoming and comfortable home. Extremely clean and the food is good. Plenty of activities take place which everyone seems to enjoy, plus trips out for the more mobile residents.

Staff were welcoming, professional and kind.

Can't fault the care my auntie had during her 5 year stay. Staff were kind, caring and patient. Always a warm and welcoming face when visiting. Her last few weeks, she was in her bed, and they kept her dignity right to the end. Couldn't have asked anymore from the care team. They were superb, and the love for her was clearly shown.

My mother has been at Low Furlong for nearly a year. As a family we find the care and environment well suited for her needs. She is happy, content, calm and safe which is a great comfort to us all. The staff are so caring, friendly and so lovely with our mother. As a family we are extremely happy and appreciative. Thank you.
