The rooms are lovely and spacious.
The managers and all the staff work hard to achieve this. The staff always make myself, my family and friends welcome and they cannot do enough for us. Any questions or requests are always answered promptly and efficiently.
The food is nutritious and home cooked. There are always plenty of different options available.

Hi, Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review. We really appreciate the feedback and I will pass on you kind words to the team. Kindest regards
My sister who has dementia, arrived at Cherry Tree Lodge rather confused as she has been moved from various hospital wards over the previous 2 months. Her time at Cherry Tree relaxed her and she felt she was able to cope. She also put on much needed weight. Her feedback - very pleased with the kind nursing staff.

My father's health and wellbeing has improved significantly since moving into the home. He's much happier and is enjoying himself in his life again. The staff are all kind and helpful, the daily interactions have got him going again. The entire home is kept very clean and pleasant. This home has plenty of space for residents to move about and socialise. There's a lovely garden to relax in and there are daily activities to give residents routine and stay interested in their lives. Highly recommend. We are really happy with everything.

My grandma is treated with dignity and respect. She feels safe and at home here. Everyone is very approachable and friendly and prepared to help with any enquiries we might have, she also enjoys the dining room experience where she is showed options of meals. My grandma loves being told what activities take place and group outings. It was a hard decision to make putting her into care but seeing how happy she is assures me I have made the right decision.
Rooms are lovely and spacious with a good size en-suite.
Plenty of staff available to answer any questions or help my mum do things she can't do for herself.
Thank you so much for you kind words. This really means a lot to the team.
I am a friend of a resident of Cherry Tree Lodge and have been visiting for over a year. From my experience, I can't fault the home. Lovely staff, unbelievable cleanliness everywhere and my friend has been so happy there. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely spacious, light and airy, spotlessly clean home with wonderful service.
There is always something going on - everyone is so happy when you visit.
Mum was very apprehensive when she first arrived but soon found her feet and enjoyed all of the activities.

My mother is happy, well looked after. I would recommend Cherry Tree Lodge to anyone needing care. The home is clean and friendly, makes all guests welcome. Has a lovely garden. Do different activities to entertain e.g. cooking or writing practice or knitting, exercise activities. Rooms are a good size with private toilet and wash facilities. Really glad we looked about and found this home. Even take residents out if well enough on different outings. My mum went to watch carol service in local primary school.

Following a terrible experience at a previous home we began to look for alternatives. As soon as we visited Cherry Tree and met the team we knew that this was the right place! 4 months on after moving my mother-in-law to Cherry Tree we can’t be anything other than complimentary about the care she receives. The home is immaculately clean, safe and secure and the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated with a door leading directly into a beautiful garden. The food is very good quality and always plenty of it, my mother-in-law requires support when eating and there’s always a dedicated carer at the table to help. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to move to Cherry Tree, it’s safe, well-run, friendly and welcoming, I am filled with confidence that my mother-in-law is well cared for by a team that genuinely care and always show kindness and compassion, the activities are also well thought out and engaging, there’s always something going on and it’s great seeing her engaging.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for all of your kind words and stars, the whole Cherry Tree team really do appreciate you writing your review and the feedback, Thank you.

Excellent care for my mum who has been here for over two years. The only thing is food could possibly be better but other than that it’s a lovely home with lovely residents and staff. Mum can make her room her own.
Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review! It is a pleasure to take care of your mum at Cherry Tree Lodge. Have a great day!
My mum has been there for three years now and is very happy. The staff are lovely. The Activities Coordinator organises new activities every day to keep the residents stimulated. Everyone can join in... or not. My mum's room is always clean and tidy. The staff make sure her phone is always charged and help her to ring people when she forgets how. The family are welcome to sit in the lounge with other residents and I can honestly say I've never met an unhappy resident. Would recommend 100% for anyone needing care for an elderly relative.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for all of your kind words. The whole Cherry Tree team really appreciate you writing your review and for all of the five stars. Thank you.
Cherry Tree Lodge is a high standard of care, with the building purpose built. My mum has settled in happy and continues to enjoy everyday life. The staff go the extra mile in taking care and responding to needs and also entertain residents daily. I would definitely recommend Cherry Tree Lodge to your loved ones.

Cherry Tree has transformed greatly over the last 12 months due to new staff and management who have made Mum's experience more enjoyable. The staff are extremely entertaining, happy and caring towards all the residents. The home itself is fresh, clean and tidy and maintained to a high level similar to a 4-star hotel. Mum's room is always immaculate, the food is to a high standard. To sum up, I find Cherry Tree Lodge clean, friendly, caring and fun. Well done to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your review, it’s amazing for us to receive such great feedback.
I am glad that all the changes and improvements within the home have been noticed and I can assure you these improvements will continue and remain consistent. We could not do what we do without all...
Personally, I am relieved that, 18 months after I suggested this, my uncle and auntie are now settled at Cherry Tree, comfortable with items from their old home around them. After a dreadful Christmas with my uncle in hospital and my auntie at home with carers, both extremely poorly and frail, this was a need must move. Thank goodness we were able to get them into Cherry Tree in January and the home has worked its magic, they are both so much better mentally and physically, and it is great to have them back as real people. The improvement in their health, strength and well-being is a testament to the care, good food and social interaction the friendly staff provide, I believe my uncle and auntie have re-gained their independence rather than lost it.
Thank you so much for your review. It’s an absolute pleasure caring for your uncle and auntie. We always strive to deliver the best possible, person-centred care, whilst promoting individual independence. We are so glad that you can see such a positive change in them both and that we...
My grandad was a resident and sadly passed away at the end of January. I came to visit him a couple of days before his passing. The team were just the best you could ask for. One of the nurses heard who I was coming to see and she actually stopped as she was leaving to give me an update on him. The care home itself is just a beautiful place. Lovely and open with lots of different activities for the residents. Thank you for making my grandad’s end of life less painful not only for him but for the family as well. My nan is now here and from the photos and what my parents have said she is so much happier.
Thank you so much for your kind words. May I say, it was our pleasure caring for your grandad. Your review means so much to our team here at Cherry Tree and thank you for taking the time to give such positive feedback.
Kind regards,
Scott.

I’m proud to have won a Care Award during my time here. A fun fact about me: I once had a sprint finish with a Womble at the London Marathon—and it beat me!
In my spare time, I love running, dancing, and being involved with the Scouts.

My name is Dawn, and I have been the Cook at Cherry Tree Lodge for over 20 years. I love my job because I get to make the residents happy with the meals I prepare for them. It’s truly rewarding to see them enjoy what I cook.
