Mum has been a resident at Leawood Manor since March 2023. She settled very quickly and has always been very well looked after. The staff all know her likes and dislikes, and make sure she gets to participate in all the activities and trips that interest her. The well being staff organise lovely activities and there are lots of special events throughout the year. I enjoy running a choir that is very popular with the residents, and they all seem very contented and enjoy engaging with eachother and the staff. The manager works hard to make sure relatives are kept well informed about everything that is going on within the home, and is very easy to contact when needed, and follows up if problems ever arise. Overall very happy with Leawood Manor.

My step father spent his last year at Maun view before passing away a few weeks ago. Throughout this time, the care he received was excellent, he was always very satisfied with the meals and there was a variety of activities and events to bring everyone together. The staff here are superb (all of them), they genuinely care and our whole family was made to feel a part of the home. I couldn't have asked for better care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have been very pleased with how mum has settled in at Leawood. The menu is very impressive and she does enjoy her food. The room is nice & large and bright Mum enjoys the activities and the church service and she has been out on trips to the coffee shop & Central Avenue. So me and mum are both very happy and pleased we picked Leawood Manor. The staff are very friendly and always have a kind word to say to Mum. always remembering her name

Staff very good and acomodating

Mum has lived at Leawood for 3 years now. I chose this home as it was just down the road from me. Mum seems very happy . I like the weekly updates on social media as they reassure me she is fine on the weeks I cannot get to see her. All staff are pleasant and the food looks amazing. Mum seems happy which is all I want for her given her Alziemer's diagnosis

Far superior to other care home my wife has been in. Excellent management and activities. Always clean. I will stay here myself when I need to.

Excellent when you go in a smile welcomes you.If you need any help it's soon found .I just feel at home and know my husband always seems at peace which is such wonderful feeling to take home especially as you are at home on your own .

Couldn't wish her a better home for my mother in law Shirley, the staff and management are exceptional and cannot do enough for their clients and cannot do enough for their clients special acknowledgement to all staff as they do fantastic job of keeping the clients entertained, organising bus trips, partys, cakes etc. The home is welcoming, lovely and clean and very friendly and all the staff are wonderful.

The care home is always very clean even the individual bedrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they greet us with a smile on every visit. I have experienced a few other care homes and I believe Leawood Manor is the best one for my relative. They are going the extra mile to try and deal with the relatives anxieties and melt downs. I am also impressed that the care home send out weekly emails with information and all the activities they doing during the week. The online discussions about Dementia and other conditions are useful to know and we intend to attend one of these in the very near future. Thank you Leawood and especially the senior staff for a being an outstanding care home!

The activities during June were particularly impressive. Although all residents are well catered for in the variety of activities. It's lovely to see so many happy faces when you go there. The atmosphere is always friendly. It's an excellent care home.

In my view, Leawood Manor has always been Very Good, but now it is Excellent.

My in-laws were resident at Leawood Manor for over 4 years. I cannot fault the care and support they were both given during their time at the home, nor the support we were given at some very difficult times. The care and well-being teams, kitchen and housekeeping teams and admin were friendly and helpful at all times. The relationships staff built with them gave them confidence that they were being heard and their needs were being met, which reassured us. The variety of activities on offer kept them entertained and engaged. After my father-in-law's death, the care given to my mother-in-law, particularly by the team in Beech, was outstanding. My mother-in-law continued to flourish emotionally, despite failing health and becoming more reliant on the carers' physical support. She was very clear that she did not wish to be taken to hospital and the support she, and we, received during her final weeks ensured she was peaceful, content, loved and dignified at the end of her life.

Leawood Manor care home looked after both my parents for the last few years of their life's. They were both very happy and well cared for during this time. My mother enjoyed the variety of activities on offer and they both enjoyed the trips out to garden centres , cafes and pubs. During my frequent visits I was always impressed with how the skilled staff looked after the residents always maintaining their dignity , despite various declining conditions. The staff knew Mum so well and were always able to engage her in conversation or a jolly sing song , and to keep her cheerful . During her 4+year stay they ,along with the other residents became her friends and family , and I was confident that Mum was well cared for and loved . I always felt supported by the staff and their kindness was always appreciated .There was always good communication and updates from the care team leaders .I would have no hesitation in recommending Leawood Manor to anyone who needs care.

During a recent Community Coffee Morning we were able to celebrate Mum's birthday as a family - she was delighted with her cake and birthday greetings sung by the staff. All these personal touches are so important.

I'm also impressed with the packed schedule of events each week - there are trips to garden centres, local cafes, etc and lots of events also within the home. The garden is also a bonus and the onsite 'cafe' is available to host family gatherings.

I would highly recommend Leawood Manor.
