Review of Park View from Louise H (Niece of Resident) published on 4 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My Aunt has been a Park View for 18 months now. The standard of attention and support she receives there is exceptional and all the staff are caring and kind. Residents room are very clean with a high standard of furniture as is the rest of the home.
If my Aunt is unwell I am contacted quickly and advised of what is happening. They are very proactive and treat my Aunt with great respect. Alex and her team are excellent.
They regularly have activity days and when I visited recently it was a pampering session. There was plenty of laughter from residents with foot spas, nails being done and face masks being applied.... even to some of the men. It was wonderful and heart warming to see as care homes get such a bad press but Park View is wonderful.

I would recommend Park View highly to anyone.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Review of Frank Foster House from Nicole H (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card

Our nana turned 100 this July and we cannot thank Frank Foster Care Home enough for everything the did for her. She had the most fantastic day from start to finish, she was treated like a queen. The home also arranged a wonderful party for her with a beautiful birthday cake made for her, buffett and a singer, it was a perfect afternoon for her. She said she had never felt to special.

Thank you.

Review of Stafford Hall Residential Care Home from L J (Son of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Finding the right care home for a loved one is never easy, but Stafford Hall has exceeded our expectations. It feels much more like a home than an institution, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are always friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know each resident, and it's reassuring to know my dad is so well looked after.
The home provides a great range of activities, including days out and entertainment within the home, helping residents stay active and engaged.
My dad doesn't have dementia and is cognitively very capable. The staff recognise this and interact with him accordingly, treating him as an individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

We're very grateful for the kindness and care shown by everyone at Stafford Hall and would happily recommend it to others.

Review of Park View from A G (Sister of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

We live 250 miles away from Park View so rely on the management, staff and carers to be our 'eyes and ears'. On our last visit, we prebooked lunch privately in the conservatory and we were all treated like royalty. Just a hand on my brother's shoulder from his dedicated carer was so reassuring and confirms our confidence in the care he receives. We spoke to the manager to discuss an overview of my brother's health and welfare, and she knew every detail of his status without looking at any of his records. Again, that instils great confidence in the way in which he is looked after. My brother is immaculately dressed, clean and perfectly well groomed. He tells me he is happy, well cared for and wants for nothing. Thank you to a wonderful, caring team.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Review of Park View from B G (Sister of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My brother has been a resident since May and the care staff have been really supportive. They are easy to contact and all the staff seem to be kept up to date with any problems or issues that my brother might have. When telephoning the home everyone has been helpful and staff ensure that I am kept up to date with events. It was reassuring that my brother was invited to go on their minibus trips and that his birthday was celebrated even though he'd only been there a couple of weeks.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Review of Leatherland Lodge from Yvonne G (Sister-in-law of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Initially I was quite concerned about my sister in law going into a Care Home as it happened very quickly. My concerns were soon overcome once I met with the Manager, Deputy Manager and saw how the care home operated. It took a few weeks for her to settle in but we're delighted to say she seems quite settled and happy at Leatherland Lodge now.
What is quite unique about this care home is they have an Entertainments Manager who goes to a lot of trouble to organise daily mental and physical exercises for those that want to join in. Plus during public holidays like Easter, Christmas, Wimbledon and the World Cup the care home is decorated to help the residents feel involved and for those that want to watch events on the tv, seating around screens is organised.

Families are also encouraged to interact with residents and where mobility isn't an issue, with prior approval, family can take them out for a couple days of hours.

Review of Park View from Terry B (Husband of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My wife, who has Alzheimers Dementia, moved into Park View last November. My daughters and I viewed many Care Homes', but, from the first minute, Park View stood out from the rest. The cleanliness and security of the home, the friendliness of the staff, the activities arranged and the welcoming of the senior staff, were all first class. Since my wife moved in, our first impressions have been proved correct.
Alex, the manager, operates an open door policy and has always found time to listen to any concerns or questions we have had about my wife's care. Her attitude and helpfulness to the residents is mirrored in her staff who always show care, respect and patience to my wife even when she has one of her infrequent non compliant days.

I am forever thankful that we were able to arrange for my wife to move into Park View. Generally she is very happy. contented and involved in the activities and I have no worries as to her welfare, as I know she is receiving first class care and attention.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Thank you for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience. We are delighted that you chose Park View for your wife's care and that she has settled in so well. Review of Woodbury Court from Neil G (Son of Resident) published on 29 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My dad has been at Woodbury Court for 6 months now and the whole process of settling my dad in was made so much easier by the wonderful management and staff. There is always a happy atmosphere whenever I visit. The home is kept clean and is maintained very well. All the staff work hard to care and to look after everyone, but also to entertain them with a daily calendar of activities and entertainment.

I visited many other care homes before deciding on Woodbury court as it most definitely the best of them all.

I really cant fault woodbury court in any way.
The staff are all so friendly, polite, smiley and nothing is ever a problem. They all go out of their way to help in any way.
Especially in this heatwave recently, they all work so hard.
Communication is excellent.

Really chuffed that mum is in woodbury court. I couldn't ask for better.

Review of Park View from M P (Son of Resident) published on 29 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
My mother has been at the home for 5 years She has many health concerns including dementia She's very well cared for - the home is well managed and the staff are very caring. She's now 93 and not really mobile. The staff feed her. The staff make an effort to integrate her with the other residents. On occasion she can be frustrated and unhappy, but that is due to her condition.

This is a very good home and I have no concerns

Parkview Witham, is a delightful Home, I believe the management are strong. Loving and caring towards my sister.
The activity programme is inclusive, entertaining and varied.
The staff are all friendly, attentive and polite.
Communications about my love one have been timely, honest and open.
I love the fact tge managers door is always open and she's available for a quick chat and her client/ residents knowledge is current.

All in all I would highly recommend Parkview & feel generally they do an excellent Job.

Mum is very well cared for and seems very contented. The staff at Park View are excellent and do their best to care for the residents. They make a lot of effort to include different activities to suit the residents.

Overall Experience
My Mum has been in Parkview since April 2025 after needing 24 hour care after lots of falls. I felt like I had let her down but she needed more care than I could give. The Hospital sent her to Parkview and I am so glad they did. I cannot sing their praises enough. I know in Mum's own world having dementia for the last 5 years she is happy. The staff are wonderful and Alex the manager is always on hand for a chat and reassurance even a shoulder to cry on. The activity team are the best Mum has been out on trips and gets encouraged to join in their activities. Mum cannot remember what she has done but because of their social media page myself and family can see her smiley face joining in.

Once again thank you Alex and your superb staff for all the love and care you give Mum. I cannot praise Parkview enough xxx
