Rosedale Court

from S D (Niece of Resident) published on 24 October 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
After upsetting experiences at other care homes it was a breath of fresh air when my aunt secured a place at Rosedale. She has complex care needs and is accommodated for so well, nothing is too much trouble. The home is managed excellently and the manager, clinical lead, carers and staff are all very
efficient. In fact my aunt looks the best she has in a long time due to their excellent care and compassion. She has a wonderful patient carer, who is experienced in Neurological illness and has forged a wonderful relationship with my aunt. The activities ladies are angels and put so much effort into providing many regular interesting activities, outings and events. The different themed days that are aimed at residents and their families are amazing. The photos/videos on social media of residents and families enjoying quality time together, having fun and making special memories is truly heart warming. We cannot recommend Rosedale highly enough.
Reply from Sian Jelbart, Manager at Rosedale Court

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We're truly touched to hear your kind words about your aunt's experience at Rosedale. It means the world to us to know that she feels comfortable, cared for, and supported.
We're also delighted that you and your family have enjoyed our themed days and events. Creating joyful moments and lasting memories for residents and their loved ones is at the heart of what we do.
Thank you again for your trust and recommendation - it's an honour to care for your aunt and to share in her journey.

Elizabeth House

from Bridget F (Daughter of Resident) published on 23 October 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum became a resident in August and sadly passed away in October. For the relatively short time she was there i visited 3 times a week and always found the home to be spotless and all the staff to be very caring. I would especially like to thank Dawn who understood my mum from the moment she met
her and was my absolute rock when I needed her. Mum had some good converations with the staff and although she was pretty much confined to her room, which was her choice, she knew lots of the names of the very kind men and women that cared for her every need. Although mum never made use of the facilities, other than 1 trip to the hairdresser, I am aware there were many activities available had she been able to or chosen to join in. I would not hesitate in recommending Elizabeth House to anybody looking for a care home for a relative.
It's a big thank you from me to all the staff.

Windle Court

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
After a 7-month wait, my wife was admitted into Windle Court. She has been there 5 weeks and is settling in nicely. Her room is nicely decorated and is spotlessly clean. She is enjoying her meals as well. She is currently undergoing several hospital appointments, and the staff are organising transport.
I have found all the staff go about their work with a big smile. I cannot fault them at all they are a credit to Windle. It makes me very happy knowing my wife is in safe hands.
Reply from Lorraine Taylor, Home Manager at Windle Court

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're truly pleased to hear that your wife is settling in well at Windle Court and that you've both had a positive experience with our team. It means a great deal to us to know that she is enjoying her meals, feeling comfortable in her surroundings, and receiving the support she needs - especially with her hospital appointments. Our staff work hard to provide compassionate, high-quality care, and it's incredibly rewarding to hear that their efforts are making a difference. Your words are a wonderful encouragement, and we'll be sure to share them with the whole team. Thank you again for your trust and support

My mum has recently passed away. I chose for her to remain in the care of Silvanna staff until the end.
A wonderful, caring Home. Staff are always friendly, patient, encouraging, respectful and professional, they really do go above and beyond. Mum went into Silvanna for respite care and then decided
to stay.
I will never forget their kindness towards mum and myself.
Thank you to every member of staff.
Reply from Flomar Joseph Febre, Home Manager at Silvanna Court

Thank you for your honest opinion. It has been our pleasure and honour to care for Mum until the end-she will be truly missed. We will continue our relationship as family, and please feel free to visit us or join any gatherings or celebrations we hold at home.

The care my father has received at Park View has been excellent. All the staff are attentive and caring. The activities for the residents are very well organised and trips out are safe and well managed. Nursing care has also been excellent, before arriving at Park View my father had leg ulcers that
would break out regularly. Since care he has received, this has been kept under control and has resulted in no hospital admissions. As I live a distance away in Surrey, the staff are very good in keeping me up to date between my 2 weekly visits.
Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're really pleased to hear your father is happy and well cared for here at Park View. It means a lot to the whole team to know our efforts make a difference and i will be sure to pass on your lovely compliments.

My wife has been at Windle Court for the past six months, first for respite then into permanent care. She has been treated with care and dignity at all items and has settled in well with the support, care and dedication of all the staff across the board. Any concerns I have had are addressed quickly.
Always positively.

The biggest of ongoing problem, is the lack of staff. When you call for assistance there is often an unacceptable wait. This is very poor, especially when waiting for toilet issues. Also the food is terrible, it arrives lukewarm and often barely edible. The quality of presentation are both dreadful.
There as been occasion when my mother has not received any food at all or, has received lunch but no dessert. Last week her dessert that was available, was custard with cream. Just yesterday, there was no butter to add to a sandwich. For the fee charged, this does not represent good value at all.

My Father, is in the best care home, Mel, Lorraine and the team are very attentive, caring and above all are just lovely people. Dad has been here nearly a year now, and he is not wanting for anything. The food they have is fresh and really nice, dad does not leave a morsel on his plate or bowl. The
cleaners are very friendly, and dad is so happy here. I dread to think how he would have been, if he was still in his flat, as he has so much interaction with everyone. Thank you so much for making my dad a happy man.

My Dad was a resident at Woodbury Court for just over 3 months and sadly passed away on 6th October. I cannot praise the staff at Woodbury Court enough. During his stay they were attentive to his every need, in a very loving and caring way. In the days up to his passing, they were always available
to support Dad and myself. They took away my worries about the practical side of things, liaising with St Luke's Hospice, and all came to pay their respects. I would highly recommend Woodbury Court and a big heartfelt thank you to everyone there.

Both my mum and dad spent time in Carolyne House, they were both looked after fantastically well. I can't praise Abbie the manager and her staff enough, they were so caring, affectionate and nothing was too much trouble. I would most definitely give Carolyne House 5 stars and would highly recommend
to anyone thinking of putting there relative into Carolyne House.

Really pleased that both my parents, who have dementia are in Woodbury Court, both have been very
challenging, and have received nothing but support, information, and care, at a time when you don't really know what you've got to do, expert guidance all the way. Thanking you all at Woodbury Court

My mother has been there since January 2021. My family are very pleased that mum is there and she is well looked after. The staff are very caring and polite. The food is very good there as well. I took mum to the dining room the other Sunday and the roast dinner smelt lovely. The staff even put the
TV on for mum so she doesn't miss her favourite programme. We know mum is safe there and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Woodbury for looking after mum. You are all superstars.

Our family cannot thank Caroline House enough for the wonderful care and love they show our grandad. From the moment he arrived, we've felt completely at ease knowing he's in such good hands. The staff are outstanding - efficient, attentive, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond every single
day to make the residents feel comfortable, valued, and happy.
What makes Caroline House truly special is the atmosphere - it feels like one big family. There are always activities and events going on to keep everyone engaged and smiling, and we're always made to feel welcome whenever we visit.
You can see that the residents come first in everything they do - they're always treated with dignity, respect, and warmth. We couldn't ask for a better home for our grandad. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Caroline House for the outstanding care you provide.
