I visit my aunt every couple of months, and the standards in the home are always consistent. The few staff I have ever had contact with have been pleasant and polite, and my aunt makes it very clear what staff she likes and how they care for her.

My elderly aunt was looked after by Frank Foster when it was realised by family that at the age of 93 she was unable to look after herself. She was always well looked after, very clean and given care and attention. She was not suffering from dementia. The Home Manager, along with all staff, cared for
my aunt in a way that our family wanted.

This care home is fantastic, my Dad has improved so much here, his social stimulation on daily activities and mixing with staff and residents has helped his mental capacity to be able to have conversations now. Dad calls his room home, and sometimes is far too busy for us when we visit because he has
an activity to join in, or a role to do to keep active. It's so nice to see him happy and settled and know he is in safe hands, taking his medication, eating properly and enjoying himself. I'm so pleased we found this home and got a space for my Dad. The staff are all involved and lovely and valued. As they say in any work place, good manager makes happy staff.

The personal, respectful care at Frank Foster has been a huge comfort since my dad moved in. Staff and management go out of their way to ensure each resident's dignity and comfort. During times I can't visit, I've found him happy, looked after and himself - which reassures me. Though he's had recent
challenges with appetite and energy, the team keeps us informed and involved. Food is fresh and good quality - he loves his morning porridge and banana! The home is consistently clean and welcoming (even I enjoy the downstairs café during visits). We've made his space reflect his personality, and though he doesn't always want to go downstairs or outside, he enjoys his room and view of the green. Between family and carers, we help with his opera or TV as he can't instigate easily. The manager and the care team are kind, thoughtful and dedicated. I would recommend Frank Foster to anyone looking for compassionate, safe, and stimulating care for a loved one with dementia or similar conditions.

My mum, was a resident at frank foster house for over 5 years , I was so pleased with the care and support mum received from all the team , she was very happy living there , very clean and inviting home and the carers always happy to help with any questions I had . Sadly just before Christmas my lovely
mum passed away , the manager and the carers were so kind to me , I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a care home for their loved one .

My mother has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year. She was reluctant to move from her flat, but needed more care than we could provide. She has settled in well and seems happier than we have seen her in years. Her physical health has also improved. The staff are friendly and cheerful; we are
always made welcome on our visits. There are lots of activities for the residents, from art and crafts to fitness classes. The staff also take groups on outings, for meals, to museums and to the zoo! Birthdays are celebrated by staff and other residents, and there is always an excuse for a party, be it for Christmas or Chinese New Year, for the Olympics or football. The home is well decorated and always smells fresh. The grounds are also well cared for and those resident who wish are encouraged to help with care of the garden. We could not have found a better home for my mother.

Mum has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year now and has settled in so much better than I had dared to hope. Despite some initial confusion of "I might go back to my flat soon" she has really settled in and has thrived under the excellent care provided by the wonderful staff. It been really reassuring
recently seeing mum appearing in the social media posts going out and about on trips, most recently to the zoo where she appeared to be having the best time, it was just lovely to see the smile on her face. I've always found the home itself to be spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming and the staff are the best, always friendly to visitors and their care for the residents is beyond doubt. I consider us very lucky that mum has found a place in such a great home and really can't thank the staff enough.

We can not praise Frank Foster care home and team enough. My mother in law has settled so well. In fact well beyond our expectations, she has had a totally new lease of life, she has enjoyed outings, keep fit, games and really enjoyed all of the lovely meals too, her room is always immaculate, the

My cousin has been in the Theydon Bois home for a few weeks. Her general wellbeing has improved enormously. She is much more mobile. It has taken a while for her to settle and she is now joining in with the activities she can. It is so good to see the improvement.

I visit with my therapy dog each month, the residents love to have a stroke and talk about the dog. The home is always extremely clean and staff are very attentive with the residents, it's a lovely place to visit.

Lovely home, very well maintained garden, and beautifully decorated corridors and rooms. Very nice 'Cafe' with cakes/biscuits and tea/coffee facilities. Wonderful staff in all departments. We can not express how happy we are with the all round care my mother is getting. It only took a couple of days for her to settle in. This is down to the great and outstanding care she is receiving. We honestly haven't seen my mum so happy in a very long time. She is always smiling, and saying how happy
she is , how much she is loving the food too and the many activities they provide to keep her very stimulated. This is all thanks to the manager and his amazing and hard working team .

I am originally from Mauritius and I started my career in Social Care at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a housekeeper. I left Runwood to become a manager of some successful care homes that were rated outstanding and decided to come back as the manager.


In 2017, I won the National Dementia Care Award for Inspiring Leader and also in 2021, I received a British Citizen Award for volunteering work in the community.


I am very proud to be part of the Frank Foster House Family, and I was amazed at the incredible support I have received from my colleagues, residents, and relatives. I enjoy seeing the residents happy and well looked after, and I am proud to be able to lead the team in reaching an excellent standard of care.

Before moving into social care, I worked as a firefighter and paramedic in Portugal. I also have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including working in luxury hotels, which gave me a strong foundation in customer care and service. For the past 9 years, I have been dedicated to the social care sector, supporting residents and leading teams to deliver high-quality care.


In my role, I am proud to be both a Veteran Champion and an Infection Control Champion, helping to ensure best practice and specialist support for our residents and staff.


Outside of work, I am passionate about horse riding and travelling, which give me energy, balance, and inspiration.
