We have found Frank Foster Care and support for my mother-in-law to be outstanding. She has only recently gone in and we had a few concerns with the care report, but there is no problem. The new manager seems to have the home running really well with staff motivated and caring. Well done.

The staff at Frank Foster have been incredible in caring for my grandmother since she moved there in December 2023. She really enjoys living here, as she has found herself great friends, and is treated so kindly and with dignity by the staff. I have no complaints, the staff are always ensuring my grandmother
receives the care that she needs, and I feel very reassured that she is in a place that will accommodate and look after her as she is rather vulnerable in her older age.

My father came to the home in January following a fall for respite care. However, my father decided that he would stay as he could see that he was better off in the Home. I can't thank you enough for looking after dad and caring for me too. I have always been impressed not just by the cleanliness but
also the attention to detail to decorating on high days and holidays like for example Easter. Plus this year the whole Home has been redecorated tastefully. The staff are all friendly and very caring. I found that the carers would always answer any of my queries and deal with any concerns I would have plus give me advice. Whatever time of day they are always available to have a chat. Dad really enjoyed the food and appreciated the care that he received. The staff are very innovative in trying to stimulate the residents and offer many activities. There is a lovely 'cafe' on the ground floor for both residents and visitors alike which is very welcoming.

The biggest thank you to all the staff who have looked after our mum for the last 2 years. You were all so professional, and caring to her throughout. My mother spent a year at Frank Foster House after a fall. In the year she spent there the staff were amazing. The level of care that she received was excellent. All the staff were friendly and attentive to anybody seeking this type of help for a relative.

My mother has been a resident for a relatively short period but most staff are doing their best to help her settle during this difficult time. Moving a loved one into a care home is not an easy decision but we feel Mum is safe and well cared for in Frank Foster. There are certainly improvements to be
made with regard to how best to help residents fill their time but things are certainly improving under new management. Communication between relatives and management is being more actively encouraged and we feel any concerns we have are being acknowledged and acted upon. With thanks.

We recently moved Mum into Frank Foster as her old care home was sadly forced to close. We cannot praise the manager and all the staff enough for how they have handled this difficult transition. Their wonderful support and genuine care has been outstanding and Mum is now happily enjoying her new residence.

Our family now has two residents in your care, my mother since December 2023 and my mother-in-law since 2020. All staff are welcoming. The doctor sees my husband promptly when needed. The ancillary staff are friendly and efficient. My husband's care is very good although his constant itching and scratching are proving a constant challenge. If I have a concern the senior carer will always ring me back. I am
promptly informed of any serious changes in my husband's health or medication. The carers vary from day to day or week. Perhaps inevitable.

My mum has been at Frank Foster since December 2023. When I first visited the home I was very nervous, It was a big thing admitting that I could no longer support Mum.
First impressions: Security is good with key pads to get in and someone to greet you in person not just buzzed in. Plenty of staff
going about their work.
Smell of the place: I can report that it had a totally neutral smell, no urine or boiled cabbage etc
Decor: It was welcoming and felt warm and homely. Spotlessly clean and the decorations were going up for Xmas and they were beautiful, especially the tree.
Staff: I was shown around by a lovely senior carer who had been working there for over 10 years. Was greeted by staff whilst going around. Met some of the residents who were enjoying an afternoon activity and everyone said hi. Looked at a room for Mum and it had a lovely view of the Village Green. The manager was wonderful and took time to go through everything, Mum is very happy there it's a caring place.

My aunt passed away a few days ago, after spending five years in Frank Foster House. She received very good care there and I was especially impressed with the staff when looked after her. She was always clean, warm and given plenty of liquids to drink, especially cups of tea which she loved. Also, if
she needed medical attention they doctor or paramedics were called without delay.

My auntie went into Frank Foster at the start of Covid. Obviously, it wasn't how we hoped her entering Frank Foster would be but she understood why we couldn't visit her at first. She was 104 last week and the staff at Frank Foster went above and beyond what we expected of them. They arranged a singer
to entertain all the residents, each of them had either a bow tie on or a flower in their hair. Staff joined in with dancing with residents. My auntie said it was the best birthday she had had since she arrived at Frank Foster. The staff and management made her feel very special. We thank them for this kindness.

My aunty recently passed away.


She moved in Frank Foster House in 2020. At this time we were not able to see the home before she was admitted due to Covid.


I didn't visit that often but I was informed of her health and wellbeing regularly and if she see a doctor.
The home was always clean with

a lovely welcome feeling.
Staff always smiling and polite.
Manager would always be happy to see me if I ever needed to discuss anything.


Meals looked nice my aunt never complained.
Lots of laughter and activities happening around the home
Would definitely recommend it.

I am originally from Mauritius and I started my career in Social Care at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a housekeeper. I left Runwood to become a manager of some successful care homes that were rated outstanding and decided to come back as the manager.


In 2017, I won the National Dementia Care Award for Inspiring Leader and also in 2021, I received a British Citizen Award for volunteering work in the community.


I am very proud to be part of the Frank Foster House Family, and I was amazed at the incredible support I have received from my colleagues, residents, and relatives. I enjoy seeing the residents happy and well looked after, and I am proud to be able to lead the team in reaching an excellent standard of care.
