View Full Details of Frank Foster HouseFriendly & caring staff. Excellent cleaners. Lovely cafe area for visiting.
I recently attended the carnival at Frank Foster House, Theydon Bois. What a lively atmosphere. I could see most residents outside and engaged. Staff constantly talking to residents to encourage them to be engaged. Lots of food!! Even had activities out for kids who came. Very well run, as in the home. Nothing seems too much trouble for the residents to help them enjoy the event.
Can never fault this care home. The staff and manager are fantastic. Clean and hygienic. Everyone is looked after and cared for lovely place for a loved one to be looked after.
Excellent care.
Auntie is looked after well and is safe.
Excellent staff, caring, compassionate and professional. Fantastic clean facilities. Fantastic entertainment and the best carnival & BBQ!
I visit my aunt every couple of months, and the standards in the home are always consistent. The few staff I have ever had contact with have been pleasant and polite, and my aunt makes it very clear what staff she likes and how they care for her.
My elderly aunt was looked after by Frank Foster when it was realised by family that at the age of 93 she was unable to look after herself. She was always well looked after, very clean and given care and attention. She was not suffering from dementia. The Home Manager, along with all staff, cared for my aunt in a way that our family wanted.
I have now visited my friend on three occasions, each visit has been remarkable. My friend is so well cared for and contented. Staff and management are extremely helpful, pleasant and caring, nothing too much trouble. Always immaculate, spotlessly clean every where an a pleasure to visit.
This home is lovely. The people who work here are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very caring towards the residents. The home is kept beautifully, it is very clean. Any time I come to visit it is clean. My mum's room, clothes and all areas of the home are always spotless and fresh.
The personal, respectful care at Frank Foster has been a huge comfort since my dad moved in. Staff and management go out of their way to ensure each resident's dignity and comfort. During times I can't visit, I've found him happy, looked after and himself - which reassures me. Though he's had recent challenges with appetite and energy, the team keeps us informed and involved. Food is fresh and good quality - he loves his morning porridge and banana! The home is consistently clean and welcoming (even I enjoy the downstairs café during visits). We've made his space reflect his personality, and though he doesn't always want to go downstairs or outside, he enjoys his room and view of the green. Between family and carers, we help with his opera or TV as he can't instigate easily. The manager and the care team are kind, thoughtful and dedicated. I would recommend Frank Foster to anyone looking for compassionate, safe, and stimulating care for a loved one with dementia or similar conditions.
My mum, was a resident at frank foster house for over 5 years , I was so pleased with the care and support mum received from all the team , she was very happy living there , very clean and inviting home and the carers always happy to help with any questions I had . Sadly just before Christmas my lovely mum passed away , the manager and the carers were so kind to me , I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a care home for their loved one .
Frank Foster House provides outstanding care with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are kind, attentive, and always go the extra mile for residents. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and offer engaging activities. Most importantly, residents are treated with dignity and respect, giving families peace of mind. Highly recommended!
I've found Frank Foster a very nice care home for my mother. All the staff are very helpful and friendly and my mother has done lots of activities. The home is always clean and tidy. Most importantly my mother is enjoying it.
My mother has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year. She was reluctant to move from her flat, but needed more care than we could provide. She has settled in well and seems happier than we have seen her in years. Her physical health has also improved. The staff are friendly and cheerful; we are always made welcome on our visits. There are lots of activities for the residents, from art and crafts to fitness classes. The staff also take groups on outings, for meals, to museums and to the zoo! Birthdays are celebrated by staff and other residents, and there is always an excuse for a party, be it for Christmas or Chinese New Year, for the Olympics or football. The home is well decorated and always smells fresh. The grounds are also well cared for and those resident who wish are encouraged to help with care of the garden. We could not have found a better home for my mother.
Mum has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year now and has settled in so much better than I had dared to hope. Despite some initial confusion of "I might go back to my flat soon" she has really settled in and has thrived under the excellent care provided by the wonderful staff. It been really reassuring recently seeing mum appearing in the social media posts going out and about on trips, most recently to the zoo where she appeared to be having the best time, it was just lovely to see the smile on her face. I've always found the home itself to be spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming and the staff are the best, always friendly to visitors and their care for the residents is beyond doubt. I consider us very lucky that mum has found a place in such a great home and really can't thank the staff enough.
We can not praise Frank Foster care home and team enough. My mother in law has settled so well. In fact well beyond our expectations, she has had a totally new lease of life, she has enjoyed outings, keep fit, games and really enjoyed all of the lovely meals too, her room is always immaculate, the home smells so lovely and fresh no matter what time we visit. Highly recommend this lovely care home. We can not thank you enough.
My cousin has been in the Theydon Bois home for a few weeks. Her general wellbeing has improved enormously. She is much more mobile. It has taken a while for her to settle and she is now joining in with the activities she can. It is so good to see the improvement.
I visit with my therapy dog each month, the residents love to have a stroke and talk about the dog. The home is always extremely clean and staff are very attentive with the residents, it's a lovely place to visit.
Mum has settled in to Frank Foster far better than we expected, she is well looked after and very much enjoys the activities. I can not speak highly enough of the staff who are always helpful and caring, the general feeling is always happy and positive. We are so pleased that we chose Frank Foster and mum now thinks of it as home, she was very anti going and the change has been remarkable which is all down to the staff. Thank you.
