When I found out that Dad had to go into a care home, I was upset and very anxious about finding the right one. I can honestly say that as soon as I entered this home, I felt at ease straight away. Dad has been a resident for just over three months now and has settled in nicely. The staff and management are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Communication is very good and the care is brilliant. I know Dad enjoys the activities and it's good that I can join in too. As a family, we only wanted the very best for our lovely Dad and we have certainly found it with Frank Foster House.

My dad has been in the Frank Foster House since June 2016. He took a while to settle but now seems happier than he has for a long time. The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. Any worries or concerns that we have had have been dealt with speedily and considerately. The twice daily activities provided for residents are second to none and ensure that their mental and physical capabilities are regularly challenged. It is so refreshing to visit a home where everyone is valued, staff and residents alike and where real care is shown by all. It was a huge decision to place my dad in a care home and we were very worried about it, but we definitely made the right decision to put him in the caring hands of Frank Foster House.

Frank foster House is always clean, no bad smelling areas and in good condition. We visited at all times of the day. My Mother-in-Law is happy and loves the activities. She is always clean, appropriately dressed and looks in good health. We noticed too, that drinks are always being offered which is important as elderly folk do not drink enough.

My mother was in the Frank Foster House Care Home for 16 months and the care she received was exemplary. The carers were so kind and patient, nothing was too much trouble. The food could possibly have been more imaginative and the home could have provided ramps between the room where necessary. They have been requested many times. However, the care she received even made up for this.

Frank Foster Home organised a street party for all residents and families for the Queens 90th Birthday. The manager, staff and carers worked extremely hard making it a spectacular occasion. Tables were set up early in the morning and beautifully decorated fir for the Queen. The chef made a magnificent cake, the residents and friends enjoyed a barbecue and entertainment with the singer. The local traders contributed generously and everyone had a memorable day.

My sister who is a resident in Frank Foster House has been there for about a month and is quite happy there. The staff and management are very helpful and are always happy to help if you have a problem. On Saturday 11th June they held a street party for the Queens Birthday and held a BBQ which was very nice. They also had a very good singer to entertain the residents and family who attended, it must have had a lot of effort put into it to be such a success.

When I visited (in a social cull) I was very impressed with the decoration and overall cleanliness of the home. I enjoyed meeting members of the staff again, and having chats with various people who live there. All said how happy and well cared for they were by the staff. My brother who unfortunately died last June, would have loved it.

I found the manager very very helpful and considerate to all and I am so pleased that I called in again. I have a friend who has been to see Frank Foster's who was also very impressed and he has his mothers name on the waiting list. We as a family recommend Frank Fosters.

Mum looks well and looks very well cared for and settled (although she's forgetful!). Her room is clean as is the rest of the home. Everyone we have come in contact with is friendly and helpful. Mum looks so much better than when she first came in. Thank you.

It has been a while since my last visit and I cannot believe the complete change of atmosphere here. Residents seem happier than ever, staff appear happier and the home just feels like a new place. The decor has been updated and feels fresh and inviting, especially in the dining and activity/relaxing rooms. A few residents insisted I saw the new wallpaper and fire. A few faces that were once glum, seem genuinely more upbeat and many were proud to show the new look off to me and my young family. Well done!
