Frank Foster House

I am originally from Mauritius and I started my career in Social Care at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a housekeeper. I left Runwood to become a manager of some successful care homes that were rated outstanding and decided to come back as the manager.

In 2017, I won the National Dementia Care Award for Inspiring Leader and also in 2021, I received a British Citizen Award for volunteering work in the community.

I am very proud to be part of the Frank Foster House Family, and I was amazed at the incredible support I have received from my colleagues, residents, and relatives. I enjoy seeing the residents happy and well looked after, and I am proud to be able to lead the team in reaching an excellent standard of care.

Hi welcome to Frank Foster House

I was a carer at one of the other Runwood Homes care home since 2020 and i asked for a transfer to Frank Foster House.

As a Filipina, I love to sing and enjoy entertaining the residents, which brings me a lot of joy. What I love most about my job is making the residents happy—it truly makes my day. In my spare time, I focus on resting and recharging so I can always bring my best to work.

Building relationships with residents and their families is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in being part of a team that promotes dignity and quality of life for those we serve. The challenges of the role keep me engaged and motivated, and I am grateful for the chance to contribute to such a vital community.

I encourage meaningful activities whilst maintaining independence, choice and dignity enabling residents to live as full and active a life as possible. Activities are tailored to each individual’s interests and hobbies
so that no one is left out. My hobbies include exercise, cycling, travel and socialising.

I enjoy my work and also passionate about the residents.

Arial brings with him over 20 years of experience, primarily working in care homes. Originally from the Philippines, he has a strong passion for cooking—especially when it comes to preparing nutritious and delicious meals for older people.

Outside the kitchen, Arial is an animal lover and has a beloved dog. He’s excited to be part of the team and looks forward to getting to know everyone

Meet Maddie – Our Resident Ambassador!

Hi, my name is Maddie, and I’m proud to be the Resident Ambassador here at Frank Foster House.

I’ve been living at Frank Foster since 2023, and I absolutely love it here. Being an ambassador gives me the chance to welcome new residents, share my experiences, and help make everyone feel at home.

I really enjoy my role, and I’m always happy to lend a helping hand or have a friendly chat!

Meet Subashi, who has been a valued member of the Frank Foster House team for 13 years. She began her journey with us as a carer and has continued to grow and contribute with dedication and compassion.

Subashi is a proud mum of two daughters and was highly commended at the Great British Care Awards 2024 in the Ancillary Worker category — a wonderful recognition of her hard work and commitment.

My name is Eunice, and I am originally from Kenya. I have a daughter, and my professional background is in accounting back home. I have been working at Frank Foster House for over a year, and during this time, I have become both a Dementia Champion and the home’s Prosper Champion and Nutrition Champion.

I am passionate about caring for older people and making a positive difference in their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and writing, which helps me to continue learning and growing.

Saba is a compassionate Activity Coordinator with a passion for art and creativity, using painting, crafts, music, and reminiscence to brighten residents’ lives. With over two years of experience in UK care homes, she designs and delivers engaging, dementia-friendly activities that inspire joy, spark meaningful memories, and encourage self-expression. Her goal is to ensure each resident feels valued, connected, and truly at home.

My name is Giedre, and I am the Care Team Leader and Dementia Champion at Frank Foster House.

I began my journey here 12 years ago as a Kitchen Assistant, and over the years, I have been fortunate to grow within the team and develop my career in care. Today, I am proud to lead and support our care team while also championing best practices in dementia care.

I am deeply passionate about working with the elderly, and I find great purpose in making a positive difference to the lives of our residents. Frank Foster House is a very special place to me, and I am proud to be part of such a dedicated and caring team.
