I visit my friend, a resident at Frank Foster. I have been so impressed with the care and attention the staff give to the residents at the home I felt moved to say so.
They show they really care about the residents and with great patience go about their day to day tasks with a smile on their faces.

I had been looking after my mother for five years at home but when it got too much for me I looked into care homes.
It was a very difficult time but Frank Foster House was so impressive the management and staff were fantastic, very understanding and kind. I've been so happy with this home as has my

My mother was a resident in this home for five years until her recent death.
All the staff were professional and caring and know all the residents by name. Lots of activities are organised and residents are encouraged to participate. The home has recently been completely refurbished and all rooms are
first class. The staff are very attentive to anyone needing special help and nothing seems to much trouble. The manager is a very warm person and has a special bond with the staff and residents.

My mother is happy and well looked after here. The staff are extremely good and are always very caring towards residents, rooms, food and activities are very good.
Home is very clean and is decorated appropriately for more mature people i.e areas to stimulate memories. Particularly liked a script on
the wall in the entrance which was about family being patient with elderly family members. Management is always ready to discuss any concerns and will advise you of any of their concerns.

my mum went into Frank Foster House nearly a year ago and I was not sure what to expect as she forgets so much but the staff and management here have been excellent, they all know her name and all give her a hug. There is always an activity going on from sing-alongs to trips out, their meals always
look great and mum has put some weight back on that she had lost when she was at home. All in all, I am so pleased my husband and I choose this home for my mum. COULD NOT FIND BETTER. EXCELLENT!

My husband has been a resident for 3 years now. When he was first admitted he was very agile and capable, he was catered for with the activity club. Due to illness, he is bedbound, but all his needs are completely fulfilled.
Fantastic residential home. 100% recommend.

The care home is a friendly and homely place and doesn't have the clinical coldness of some residential care homes I have seen.

I can't praise the staff enough at the Frank Foster Home enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My husband always looked his best when I went to visit him, and the staff didn't know when I was visiting.

Since mum went to Frank Foster, she has been so well looked after. All the staff are professional and caring. I was worried about her going into a home, but they always put my mind at ease. There are lots of little things that were looked after, they got to know her ways and her routines. I know she
was a little difficult to look after since having dementia, but they more than rose to the task. Thank you.

My mum received excellent friendly and compassionate care while a resident at Frank Foster House. During her last few days, while mum's family sat with her, staff were so kind to us all offering tea, coffee and biscuits and sandwiches during the long day and hugs and support. I would not hesitate in

When I found out that Dad had to go into a care home, I was upset and very anxious about finding the right one. I can honestly say that as soon as I entered this home, I felt at ease straight away. Dad has been a resident for just over three months now and has settled in nicely. The staff and management
are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Communication is very good and the care is brilliant. I know Dad enjoys the activities and it's good that I can join in too. As a family, we only wanted the very best for our lovely Dad and we have certainly found it with Frank Foster House.

My dad has been in the Frank Foster House since June 2016. He took a while to settle but now seems happier than he has for a long time. The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. Any worries or concerns that we have had have been dealt with speedily and considerately. The twice daily activities provided
for residents are second to none and ensure that their mental and physical capabilities are regularly challenged. It is so refreshing to visit a home where everyone is valued, staff and residents alike and where real care is shown by all. It was a huge decision to place my dad in a care home and we were very worried about it, but we definitely made the right decision to put him in the caring hands of Frank Foster House.

Frank foster House is always clean, no bad smelling areas and in good condition. We visited at all times of the day. My Mother-in-Law is happy and loves the activities. She is always clean, appropriately dressed and looks in good health. We noticed too, that drinks are always being offered which is
important as elderly folk do not drink enough.

My mother was in the Frank Foster House Care Home for 16 months and the care she received was exemplary. The carers were so kind and patient, nothing was too much trouble. The food could possibly have been more imaginative and the home could have provided ramps between the room where necessary. They
have been requested many times. However, the care she received even made up for this.

Frank Foster Home organised a street party for all residents and families for the Queens 90th Birthday. The manager, staff and carers worked extremely hard making it a spectacular occasion. Tables were set up early in the morning and beautifully decorated fir for the Queen. The chef made a magnificent
cake, the residents and friends enjoyed a barbecue and entertainment with the singer. The local traders contributed generously and everyone had a memorable day.

I am originally from Mauritius and I started my career in Social Care at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a housekeeper. I left Runwood to become a manager of some successful care homes that were rated outstanding and decided to come back as the manager.


In 2017, I won the National Dementia Care Award for Inspiring Leader and also in 2021, I received a British Citizen Award for volunteering work in the community.


I am very proud to be part of the Frank Foster House Family, and I was amazed at the incredible support I have received from my colleagues, residents, and relatives. I enjoy seeing the residents happy and well looked after, and I am proud to be able to lead the team in reaching an excellent standard of care.
