Mum's been at Windmill for a couple of months now and we're really glad that she's there. Mum has quite advanced Alzheimer's and she wasn't able to live independently at home after my father died earlier this year. Of course, moving into residential care was a big step for Mum (and the rest of us) but we were really pleased how quickly she adapted to life there. The team are really good at establishing routines which keep Mum as relaxed and calm as possible. She enjoys the sense of community and companionship with staff and the other residents. With dementia there are always going to be good days and bad days, but we feel like Windmill is giving mum the best chance of more of those good days.

I am consistently overwhelmed by the outstanding care and professionalism of all the team, especially Maria, manager.

Generally very happy with the quality of care and staff. There are a few occasions where there has been handling that could be more gentle, but this appears to be with the staff that are not the main carers. Overall, OT, activities etc are v. good Especially singing activities

The Mill House has a homely and friendly atmosphere. The staff seem to go out of their way to support the residents to be active and not 'stuck' in their rooms or chairs staring at a wall. There is a great range of activities my mum gets involved in. The staff are friendly and my mum seems to be enjoying being here overall I feel content knowing my mum is safe and well looked after when I am so far away and can't visit as often as I would like.

I have always found the staff friendly and very caring. You cannot fault their commitment. They all work very hard and put every effort into all the events they hold. My mother is always very complimentary about the food she is given. My family and I are very happy that my mother is in the care of the staff at Windmill House and would like to thank them all for looking after her.

took a little bit of time for Michael to get settled - but he's doing very well now. staff are very lovely & helpful.

'Care' facility. Sadly being bedridden, mum is unable to take part in the many varied activities that are put on for the residents to keep them stimulated and entertained. From everything I witness during my visits these all pay off as between the staff and residents the smiles are bountiful. I could not recommend Windmill House more.

The management were active on the day and was a lovely set up in the garden. All residents seem to enjoy themselves in the garden

My dad has been a resident here now for a few months and I can't rate it highly enough. The whole process has been very smooth which has made it far less stressful. All the staff have gone above and beyond to not only make sure dad is happy and settled but to also support us. The home is beautiful and always very clean, the setting is beautiful and the day trips and activities are brilliant.

My wife has been a resident at St Michaels Court for over a year now. it is so comforting to know that she is being cared for by people who really care. Management & staff are brilliant and she is in a happy place!

I cannot fault the care given to my husband since he was admitted 7 weeks ago. All the carers are absolutely fantastic and my husband is treated with kindness and respect. Preserving the residents' dignity is very important to all the staff. The facilities and surroundings here are second to none - one of the residents recently told me it was like a posh country hotel!!

My mother has been here for just over a month and is settling in well. The staff are kind, caring and very patient, and my mother is comfortable and well cared for. The home is bright, cheerful and I am always made to feel welcome & when I visit.

Husband's room is bright and airy lovely view too. Nurses, carers and staff are all lovely and caring. As husband is in bed most of the time it helps that he has a great tv set up perfectly for him. I must say the food is really good and i often have lunch with him. Angel is so lovely and nothing is to much trouble for her. I know husband is in good hands.

My mum is well seatled in St Michaels staff our excellent my mum is so happy I myself her daughter is pleased with her care.

St. Michael's Court is a large home. The residents have individual bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, set over 3 floors. Each floor has dining and lounge areas with TV where residents can get together. There are also seating areas outside in the garden if the weather is good. I came to St. Michael's from leaving hospital. I found the staff to be kind and considerate. There is a good staff to resident ratio, qualified staff available 24/7. The staff treat residents with respect. Meals are good, served in rooms or in communal areas.

Such a superb residential home. Staff & carers 2nd to none always there for you. In our activites our 2 leaders come up with the amazing projects.

We were very pleased with all the help and support we received whilst Mom was at St Michaels. The staff always went above and beyond to help us and mom.

A lovely place to be looked after. Visitors are always made very welcome. All the staff do a excellent job. Could not visit for anything better for my sister to be cared for. Every where looks so clean and tidy.
