My wife has been a resident in Lancaster Court for 18 months and I am still very pleased that I chose this care home for my wife.
The food is very good and the home is kept spotlessly clean. She is very well looked after and her key worker is a lovely person well trained, very patient and hard working.
The management of the care home put on an excellent 80th Anniversary celebration and the Elvis tribute show went down very well.

MY wife has been a resident in Sandalwood Level for over six years. I have seen many changes of staff, but the care has been constant. The new manager is a pleasure to deal with and inspires confidence. The C.T.Ms are professional and dedicated. All there are helpful and polite, including the laundry
and the kitchen staff.
I have total confidence that my wife is getting excellent care, and I am happy that she resides there.

My sibling is always treated with respect by all members of the staff team, and their views are listened to actively. Their dignity is paramount and the support the staff have recently provided on a couple of hospital appointments has minimised the stress of these ongoing visits. The diligence in ensuring

My mum has been a resident of Lancaster Court since March 2019 and I can not praise the care she has received highly enough.
All throughout Covid and since the staff have been kind, friendly, and caring, always involving us in decisions and keeping us fully involved with Mum's care. Mum is comfortable,
happy and most of all safe.
I've lost count of the people I have recommended to Lancaster Court!

My father has lived at Lancaster Court for 12 years next February, and we couldn't be happier with the love and care provided. He is very happy there, he likes to join in with the activities, they cater for everyone, a bit of bingo, singing (even the manager does his bit by putting on a bit of a show
singing) gardening, painting, cooking even a bit of yoga with I've even joined in myself! There is so much to do. The staff are very friendly, it's like one big happy family. I would recommend this care home to anyone, which I have!

Very clean excellent communication staff very friendly and helpful. When something happens the staff ring as soon as they can. Food looks edible although my dad doesn't appreciate it. He always eats it.

A homely, caring, and delightful place. My mother-in-law has been a resident for 11 months since discharge from the hospital. She has settled in very well and seems very happy and well cared for. Visitors are welcome at all times and the staff are always friendly, caring, and helpful.

I visited my grandmother and I am pleased to say that I am impressed with the effort the staff put in to look after the residents. They take great care of everyone as they support everyone's needs.
The care home is well-maintained and spacious and the management is very supportive. Staff are always

This was my first visit to see Mum in the care home as I was recovering from an operation.
I was really happy to see how bright the care home was and meet the lovely staff looking after my mum.

Excellent staff. Friendly, reliable, caring and nothing too much trouble. The chef always looking to find a meal/drink for my friend. Very grateful. A particular staff member gave me excellent support and care, another staff member was wonderful too and of course another two particular members of staff

My mother was sent to Lancaster Court from the hospital for palliative care, which we were not expecting.
The staff were extremely kind and caring with the family and my mother.
They all helped us through a very tough time as she sadly passed away last Thursday after only three weeks.

We, as a family, were extremely happy with the care my mum received. When she first went into the home until such time as she went to the upper level due to her ill health. They always notified me if Mum had a bump. She has her hair done weekly, and a chiropodist tends her feet on a regular basis and
the carers also took time to paint Mum's fingernails. The nursing staff were excellent. Thank you.

Cannot say thank you enough to the manager and his team for the way that they handled my father's care. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough, if you have a relative in palliative care. They handled the continuous care application and went the extra mile
when we had issues with the transfer from hospital.
The place was very clean. Food was of a standard you would expect and the laundry service had things back in his cupboard within a few hours, which was amazing.

My wife has been a resident for just over a year. During this time the staff have been brilliant ensuring that her dignity is maintained at all times. They all have time for her and go the extra mile to ensure her stay is as comfortable. The family are very happy with her care and are particularly impressed
with the regular emails and relative meetings which ensure that we are all fully involved with her nursing care.
Would I recommend the home to someone looking for a place for a loved one - unreservedly yes.
I'm just amazed that CQC haven't rated Lancaster Court as outstanding.

Job Title: Home Manager

My name is Francesca Fosu, and I am a registered nurse with nearly 15 years of experience across a range of care settings, including community care and nursing homes.


Before entering nursing, I worked as a court clerk, but the call to nursing was too strong to ignore. Almost 20 years ago, I made the easy decision to train as a nurse, a decision I have never once regretted. Nursing is not just my profession; it is my passion.


I am deeply committed to ensuring that residents are always treated with the utmost kindness, dignity, and respect. I see it as both a professional duty and a moral obligation to advocate for their well-being at all times.


One of the greatest privileges of my role is meeting remarkable people whose life stories could fill the pages of any book. Their experiences inspire me every day.
