Overall Experience

Mum settled into Lancaster Court very quickly after a short stay in hospital in early 2016. The staff are very welcoming, caring and friendly and treated Mum extremely well. Her nursing needs were well catered for, to the extent that she has recovered to the point where she has now transferred from the nursing floor to the residential floor. She enjoys a laugh and joke with all the staff which helps with the friendliness of the home.

With over 20 years of dedicated experience in the health and social care sector, I have built a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of others through compassionate, person-centred care. I believe that true quality care goes beyond meeting physical needs alone; it must also nurture each individual's emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

I have obtained many qualifications, including a Level 5 diploma in leadership and management; a Level 3 Dementia Diploma; Level 3 Medication administration; Level 2 counselling Diploma; Level 2 Diabetes Diploma; Mental Health first aid; IOSH training; Moving and Repositioning key trainer; and an Assessors Diploma.

My hobbies are hosting dinner parties, potting plants, and reading different genres of books. On the odd occasion, I enjoy a bit of an adrenaline rush by going off-roading in Wales, air ballooning and or clay pigeon shooting. I have a love of Music and believe it evokes memories, such as music for the mind does.
