Wisden Court

my grandad has been a resident for over 4 years in Wisden Court. we honestly couldn't be happier with the care he receives. All the care staff are amazing, kind, caring and always very attentive to his needs. His room is always clean and tidy, the whole care home is always spotless and smells lovely. It's clear that a great deal of effort goes into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. My grandad's dementia is now very advanced but the staff always take time to sit with him and spend quality time in his company. Their patience & time mean so much to our family. We are all incredibly grateful to all the staff

Staff are always friendly, happy, caring and willing to listen to any concerns or questions you wish to address. All the residents seem to be genuinely happy. There are always lots of activities for those who wish to take part. Trips out. Birthday celebrations. My father is very happy and feels safe living at Wisden Court.

We are really happy with the care my mum receives here. The staff are always kind, patient and welcoming, and they make us feel reassured that she is in good hands. They take the time to get to know the residents and always seem genuinely caring and attentive. Communication with the family has been great and it means so much to know that she has people around her who are looking out for her. We have seen how happy and relaxed she is here. A big thank you to everyone who helps care for her.

I can't thank the staff enough for the care and kindness they show my nan. Everyone is always so welcoming, friendly and attentive and it's reassuring knowing she is being looked after so well. The staff genuinly seem to care about the residents and always make the time to help. the home is lovely, clean and has such a warm atmosphere. were really grateful for everything they do and would definitely recommend this home to other families.

I have been looking after my wife for 10 years & now feel that the care home that she is now in has given me a strong belief that she is in a good place. They have done lots of good things her motability has got better. Also she found her people skills again talking & taking part in activies. As for me this seems the right place for my wife going forward.

My mother was transferred to the care of Wisden Court following an admission into hospital. The care & staff are amazing. They have a wonderful attitude + are extremely positive + persuasive with their positive attitude. Mum's second visit and without hesitation, should the need arise again, I will be in touch.

I have found all the management and staff to be very helpful and caring, not only to my mum but with all of the residents. Everyone walks around with a smile even when they are very busy, and even with this extreme heat that seems never ending. Well done to everyone at Wisden Court.

I cannot thank everyone at the care home enough for the wonderful care they give my grandma. She is genuinely so happy there, which gives our whole family such peace of mind.

She absolutely loves taking part in all of the activities, always tells us how much she enjoys the food, and her room is always spotless and beautifully looked after. It's clear that the staff take great pride in everything they do.

What really makes this place special is the team. They treat my grandma with such kindness, patience and respect, and they have become like family to her. Knowing she is so well cared for and surrounded by people who genuinely care means the world to us.

Thank you to every member of staff for everything you do. You make such a positive difference to the lives of your residents and their families. We couldn't ask for a better place for our grandma.

Mum absolutely loved it at Wisden Court and was really upset when she left. What a lovely place!

Our Mum was a resident at Wisden Court and sadly passed away in January. She had dementia. She was so well looked after by all of the team and most importantly was happy there. Her room was lovely and the home was clean and beautifully decorated. We will miss calling in to visit. Thank you all so much for being one big family who make this place a home from home. xxx

Only stayed a fortnight but what a difference in my partner, up and about nicely dress, smelt nice looked really well. I was moved by the difference in my partner, and would like to thank all at Wisden Court for their excellent care shown to my partner.

Mum has only been here few months, so far I am really pleased with the experience from moving in to now. Mum settled well and you can see how much the staff care. Adapting to her needs with ease ensuring she is included in activities. I feel comfortable knowing mum is safe, fed, warm and cared for. Everything that is important to her needs and comfort. Very happy.

My husband came to Wisden Court last November and he settled very quickly into the home. He is happy and content which makes me feel that too. He loves the staff and they always include him with activities and events. They have a plan each week for residents to join if wanted. Well organised home and residents come first always.

My overall experience with Wisden Court has been excellent. The staff go above and beyond. They treat every resident with love and respect. Wisden Court itself just feels like one big family.

From the moment my mum was a resident, all the staff were amazing. I always knew they had the comfort and well-being of mum as their core value. Always polite and respectful, and when needed, ensured mum got the medical required assistance, and kept the family informed. I cannot thank everyone enough for looking after mum.

My mother was at Wisden Court for a little under 2 years. After a short adjustment period, she settled in and was very happy there and passed away peacefully there in February 2025. During that time, my mother was of sound mind, but getting weaker in her ability to walk and take care of herself. She was extremely happy with the staff, facilities and care that she was given. She got along well with the care workers and management/supervisors. All of the interactions I have had with staff have been wonderful. The staff know me on a first-name basis and kept me up-to-date on any issues and my mother's condition throughout her stay. I felt that the staff treated mum like a friend and that is so important when picking a care facility. I live overseas and it was great comfort knowing that mum was well looked after and enjoyed her final years in the company of friends and attentive care-givers. Thank-you to the manager and all of the staff at Wisden Court.

What a lovely supportive environment, both for residents and relatives. Activity staff enthusiastic and residents got involved. Care staff were caring, gentle, firm as needed, and showed true emotion for the people under their care. The management have also been fabulous, empathetic and understanding of relatives needs especially during difficult times. If I need to stop in a care home when I age, I would go here.

My grandad passed peacefully here and could not of asked for better care and support at that difficult time. Staff were amazing all throughout his time here. Thank you.

The management and staff at Wisden Court have shown my father such great care, respect and affection throughout his stay until his recent passing. So much compassion towards my father and support for the family was much appreciated. A really friendly and caring 'family'. I would 100% recommend Wisden Court for loved ones.

I don't think he was supervised adequately overnight while he was there, he was accused of ringing a firebell nine times, trying to open outside doors and entering rooms of residents which convinces me there was no supervision at all. Now they deny asking me to remove him: why would l lie?
