The home looked friendly and clean on our first inspection, since patient moved in I am pleased with the staff and level of care.

There are a few very minor issues but these can be resolved.

It is very clean and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I like the visitor's area, it's very comfortable and relaxing. My mum's room is very clean and a great size. All the staff are very attentive and give us lots of information and are very approachable. My mum seems very happy here as she is getting everything she needs.

My aunty has settled into the care home life very well. It took a little time but the staff are very helpful and have put her at ease, she now feels safe and well looked after as she had a very bad fall whilst living on her own in her home.

Mum loved being here the staff are really excellent, kind and friendly and totally respectful of all the residents. We enjoyed visiting the home. Nothing was too much trouble, questions were answered and any help was given. Everything is given the utmost care, mum's clothes were very well looked after, it may be a small thing but an important one. Sadly mum passed but their end-of-life care is second to none. The staff were informative and very sensitive. I cannot recommend Wisden Court highly enough. Thank you all.

My brother spent the last year of his life in Wisden Court. The home was run very efficiently, was always immaculately clean and the carers were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble to them and they cared for him. That's all you want from a care home, and Wisden Court provided him with care, patience and time. Thank you all at Wisden Court.

My mum lived at Wisden Court for a few years. She was cared for exceptionally well, always clean, tidy and presentable when we visited her. Mum loved the meals, especially the soup. Mum had a short stay in hospital and was quite poorly, she couldn't talk very well but did manage to say she wanted to go home, so to us that said it all. The home was very happy for her to go back and they cared for her till the end of her life. Thank you so very much.

Mum spent the last two years and four months of her life in Wisden Court. Sadly she passed away in January but thanks to the exemplary care she received from every member of staff, her final journey was serene and dignified. During her time there she was treated with kindness and love, as was I whenever I visited. All of the staff are truly amazing and work so hard to make Wisden Court a home from home. I would not hesitate to recommend Wisden Court to anyone who has a loved one who needs to be cared for. Thank you to the team for what you did for my mum and for me.

Once more, I feel compelled to mention how happy my family and I are with the extraordinary care given to my mother and indeed, the family, in any interactions with the home. The wonderful, safe methods applied to allow an indoor visit and to finally hold my mother’s hand has been navigated extremely well and with such care. This last year, Wisden Court rose to the challenges with expertise and sensitivity.

Mum has been at Wisden Court for just over 6 years and has never had cause to make any complaint. She has been extremely well looked after and we have to praise all the staff for their extra vigilance during the pandemic, keeping all their staff and residents safe. I don't live near, so can't visit her, but knowing she is in good hands, is very comforting. Not only do they care about their residents, but also the families, as this is a very hard time for us all. I can have a Skype call with Mum, even though she doesn't recognise me or can speak, but it is just reassuring to see her. This has been a lifeline for me. Hats off to all the staff.
