The staff at Wisden Court are amazing they look after my mother with great care. The staff are brilliant and I wouldn't want my mum anywhere else. Unfortunately, during these tough times, they always keep me in touch with what's going on and she is always well presented when I go to see her. They always have something going on to pass the time. I can't thank them all enough. Regards.

My mum has been in Wisden Court for nearly two years and in all the time she has been there, she has been extremely well looked after. She is always treated with loving care and the utmost respect. The care home manager and all her staff have worked tirelessly to keep all the residents safe and well throughout this very difficult time. I can't recommend Wisden Court enough, everything about the home is first class.

I have nothing but praise for the care my Dad had 5 years ago and the care my Mum now receives. Wisden Court aims to be a home from home and mostly achieves this. The staff are always willing to answer questions and to put right anything that seems amiss.

Wisden cared for my father during the last couple of years of his life. I was sufficiently impressed with their care for him that I was only too happy for them to care for my Mother who has now been there for a couple of years. The manager seems to run a "tight ship" which is very reassuring. The staff are just lovely, and always seem to want to go the extra mile to enrich the lives of the residents.

I cannot comment too much on the questions below as it was only an outdoor visit. Speaking to my Aunt she is very happy with the care etc that she receives. My visit to the outdoors is very well organised and under the circumstances, nothing at the moment could be made better. My answers below are based on conversations with my Aunt.

My mother has been a resident at Wisden Court for some 14 months. I was very apprehensive about my mother going into care. However, since day one she has been so happy and well cared for, that it has put a totally different perspective on what I expected.

The manager and her staff are a well-oiled team, who put their resident first with empathy and kindness. Throughout the Covid pandemic, the manager has kept a really tight ship which was reassuring. Just to finish with a big thank you.

Prior to Mum moving into Wisden Court I was finding it a real struggle to keep her safe on a daily basis but from day one of Mum being there I have never been in doubt that she is in the best, safest and most suitable home possible. The staff are always helpful, friendly and very professional. Although I have found it difficult not to see her throughout the Covid-19 lockdown I have been reassured by constantly being updated via phone and Email on any new issues. In addition, the fact I can have Skype chats with her via superb support from the staff has been a real blessing. I have no negative comments of any kind to make with regards to Mum’s care there.

My mum has been at Wisden Court for nearly 4 years. I have always been happy with the care mum has received, the home has a pleasant feel and really does feel like a second home to me as all staff are so friendly. Mum feels safe and looked after. Wisden Court have shone during this Covid-19 pandemic, we haven't been able to visit for obvious reasons, telephone calls aren't easy for my mum as she struggles to communicate verbally, but this hasn't been a problem as they have ensured Skype calls were put in place which means I am still able to see her every week. This gives me such peace of mind as I can see for myself she is ok. During this time where we are still partially in lockdown, there really is nowhere else where I would rather my mum be and am so very grateful to all the staff there for keeping my mum safe.

Mum has been in Wisden Court for just over a year. Although initially, it was a tough decision it has been the best thing we have done for Mum as she is very much happier now than when she was living alone. She is extremely well looked after by caring and dedicated staff. There is a wide variety of stimulating daily activities which Mum is encouraged to join in with. We are kept informed of any changes to Mum's care package and are encouraged to speak to the staff with any concerns we may have. During this difficult time, due to Covid-19, the home has been well organised and taken many early and continuing precautions, to prevent the virus entering the home. As a family, we have been kept updated on the situation on a regular basis. Overall, Wisden Court has been a Godsend and we couldn't have hoped for better.

My mother came to Wisden Court for respite in November last year and is now a permanent resident. She is very happy there, which surprised me. The place has a nice vibe throughout and the staff is always keen to help and do what they can.

I always feel comfortable in the home, and it is always clean.
I feel part of it, and there is always someone to talk to.
I like the connection my mum has with the carers.

It's a very difficult thing to leave your parent totally in the care of others, but I do feel reassured that she is being well cared for.

Mum had 3 weeks respite here before being moved into another house, wish she could have stayed here as the family found it to have a nice layout. Clean, friendly and well run, staff always kept us up to date with mum's welfare. Good weekly activities schedule for those who wish to join in. Clean and pleasant rooms.

I would highly recommend this care home. Friendly, caring and clean. It puts every individual first and understands how each and everyone has different needs. If I was to choose a care home for myself it would have to be this one. They engage with the family as well. They have what every elderly person would wish for.

Dad spent a total of 8 weeks at Wisden Court for respite care during this year. I cannot fault his care. He was always treated with kindness and compassion. The staff are lovely and Dad really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, a permanent place wasn't available for him, but he is now settled elsewhere.

I was really worried when I was told my mother would have to go into a care home. Then I went to Wisden Court. what a lovely place. Friendly staff and really lovely, airy rooms. Mother settled well which helped a lot, but the staff also helped a lot. The home is in a quiet area. Nicely set out. It is very well kept. Plenty for the resident to do. They are so caring. I worry no more.

My mother's health improved considerably during her stay at Wisden Court. The staff are caring, willing, patient and cheerful. The building is spacious, light and airy, the rooms clean. The kitchen is excellent, especially as the food is freshly cooked each day. Also, the laundry did a good service. When I requested a Doctor see my Mother this was done promptly. There is nothing I could fault, you run a superb home.
