My wife as been a resident at Laureate Court Care Home for 8 years, it was her birthday in December and what a super celebration we all had in the company of her loving family who want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Laureate Court. The staff provided and generated a lovely atmosphere with a birthday cake and refreshments and decorating the room with birthday banners and cards. Your commitment to my wifes care and well-being is very reassuring to me and my family, once again thank you to all of you for the your hard work.

The only thing that could be better is the clothes she has sometimes go missing and I was once taken down to where they are kept to try to find Junes missing clothes but it was a massive pile of clothes to look through! So it was hopeless to find them.
Thank you for your review and helpful comments which we will strive to improve on. I will pass on your lovely comments to the staff.
All staff are professional and helpful. The entertainment provided is excellent, it really makes a difference and gives residents something to look forward to. There is a family, homely feel to the home.

If I could give Laureate Court 10 stars, I would This care home is just WONDERFUL! My dad was transferred here from another care home and it is the best thing we could have done. The care my dad receives is exceptional. He is always included in any activities and fun things (depending on his health at the time) The staff are always checking on my dad and make sure he is ok. It is just an AMAZING care home with AMAZING, KIND, CARING AND THOUGHTFUL staff! Thank you so much for making my dad's stay a happy and comfortable one!

My husband passed away at Laureate Court Care Home after being there for 6 months. The care staff and the home itself were brilliant. The staff are so compassionate and caring, they not only looked after my husband but all of us as a family as we spent my husbands last days and nights there. I would recommend Laureate Court to anyone looking for somewhere for a loved one.

Mum has been a resident since January 2023. I was overseas when she moved in & the home was the choice of my siblings.
I wouldn't have chosen anywhere different.
I can only review the residential side of this home but, will tell you that after a few months of Mum being a resident, my sister & brother-inlaw moved his Mum into the nursing side.
The staff are amazing, they all genuinely care. Mum moved in needing 24hr care following a stroke. She wasn't mobile & unable to do snything for herself. With the care & support of the staff Mum is now walking with a frame & sitting at the dining table for her meals. She's reading books & making telephone calls to me on a daily basis.
I can't thank the staff enough for helping bring mum back to us.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so pleased that you are happy with the care we provide for mum. I will pass your fantastic feedback on to the team
My dad moved into Laureate Court in October 2024. From day one he has been treated with care & respect. The team at Laureate Court always go the extra mile to make the residents care first class. It was out dads 90th birthday recently & the staff helped us throw a surprise party for him which made everyone's day. We live nearly 2 hours drive away & I get a lot of comfort in the fact that dad is being cared for in such a lovely environment. Thanks to all
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad that your dad and family are happy with the home and that he enjoyed his birthday celebrations. I will pass your kind comments on to all of the staff.

Can we just express how much we appreciate you all and how much love you've shown our nanna (mum, wife, and great nannan) nanna came in for 2 weeks respite and you have gone above and beyond for her, when we've rang you with our concerns you have immediately reassured us and gone to assist nannan. All workers we have interacted with have been so beautiful and supportive. You are all doing the most amazing job and should be so proud of yourselves. Thank you so much. Thank you for allowing us time as a family to come to terms with everything. Your staff are amazing and deserve the world. So much love to you all.
Thank you so much for your amazing review, we are so glad that your family are happy with the care that your nanna has received from us and that we have been able to support you all as a family. I will pass on your wonderful words to the whole team.
I would just like to say how wonderful the staff at Laureate Court are. My mum passed away at Laurreat Court. We could not wish for better care and love that they showed my mum. It was 10 stars - above and beyond for us. She passed on 14th December 2024. She loved it. They had lots of fun going on every day with the staff, including the manager. The manager and her team are wonderful.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to care for your mum. I will pass your compliments across to all the staff
you have actually given my mum a totally new life, our old mum coming back, she's so happy, kept busy and has made lovely friendships with service users and staff.
All staff work tirelessly making it a cosy, active and loving home.
I love the updates of her dancing and being involved in the activities.
Staff make family welcome and involved.
I can now be a daughter again to mum and enjoy one another's company instead of her carer.
A million thank yous would never be enough for how grateful I am to you and your amazing staff.
Thank you for your amazing review. We are so happy that you, as a family, are happy and that Mum is settled with us. I will pass your lovely comments on to all of our staff.
Dad has been in Laureate Court since October 2024. The care is given by every member of staff is excellent. They treat everyone, relatives included with great care and respect. Since Dad has been in the care home he has become his old self. To quote my daughter at Christmas "We've got bragdad back". Thanks for everything that you do, it means so much to us as a family.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad that Dad is happy at the home and you as a family are pleased with the care provided. I will pass your comments to the staff.
From my experience, all the staff care about the residents - it's not just a job. She knows she is safe now.
Thank you so much for your review, we appreciate your feedback and glad that Mum is happy here with us.
This home exceeds any expectations I had.
Thank you so much for your fantastic review, we are so glad that mum is happy and settled with us.
My Mum has been a resident since October 2023 and the staff were wonderful with settling her in. All the staff from the handyman, catering staff, cleaners, admin, carers and managers are always genuinely friendly, approachable and very kind. They all have such a lovely rapport with my Mum. The home is beautifully maintained and is exceptionally clean, fresh and airy. My Mum constantly tells me how lovely all the staff are and they always make a fuss of her and she them, which results in lots of smiles. I come away always feeling blessed that she is safe, respected and listened to.
We appreciate your kind words, we enjoy looking after your loved one. Laureate Court always tries to create a warm and friendly environment. I will pass on your appreciation to the staff. Thank you.
Laureate Court Care Home was a lifesaver for me due to caring for my auntie and she came for respite first, then the second time in she ended up being a full-time resident. From the cleanliness of the home to laundry and cleaning, the staff, nurses, activities, managers and kitchen staff are excellent, even the handyman, everything and everyone does their best for you. My auntie has settled lovely and enjoys staying. I would give the home 5/5 in everything. Lovely place and I looked at many before this one and this is the best.
What a beautiful review, we are so happy you chose Laureate Court for your loved one. I will pass your lovely comments on to the staff. Thank you again.

Meet the Team (5)

I decided to pursue my dream of working in the care sector and have worked in Forensic, ASD and challenging behaviour-based organisations. I then made the decision to move pathways and work within a residential setting. I have been with Runwood Homes since 2021. I started as a Deputy Manager at Rose House and quickly progressed to home manager. I am now the Registered Home Manager for Laureate Court and have been at the home since July 2022.
I have never felt so supported as I do with Runwood Homes; they are not just my work colleagues, it feels like one big family.

Hi, my name is Angie, and I have had the privilege of working in the care industry for the past 13 years across various care settings. Throughout my career, I can honestly say that Laureate Court has been the best place I’ve worked. It truly feels like coming to work with your family every day, and that extends to not only the residents but also their families and the staff. The sense of community and care here is unmatched.
In my personal time, I enjoy walking and running, staying active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I'm John. I am the Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager at Laureate Court.
I joined Laureate Court 3 years ago as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager. With 30 years of experience as a nurse, predominantly in the care home sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. Before my career in healthcare, I worked for 9 years with the Department of Work and Pensions.
What drives me most is spending quality time with the residents and knowing that, no matter how small the act, I’ve made a positive difference in their day. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of their journey and provide care that truly matters.

Hi there! I’m Hannah, and I’m passionate about connecting with people and getting to know their stories. My journey started in the domestic field, where I learnt a lot about care, patience, and attention to detail. Over time, I transitioned into an admin role, where I still get to interact with people and make them feel welcome.
One of my favourite things about my job now is spending time chatting with families and learning about the backgrounds and experiences of the residents. I love hearing their stories and understanding what makes each person unique. It’s so rewarding to build these connections.
Outside of work, I’m all about quality time with my 12-year-old. We have a blast together, especially when we're adding to my growing Lego collection. It’s something we both really enjoy, and it’s a great way for us to bond and get creative. I believe in the importance of both professional and personal growth, and I strive to bring that same energy into everything I do.

I'm Sharon. I'm the Lifestyle Coordinator at Laureate Court.
I have had the privilege of working at Laureate Court for nearly 10 years. My journey began as a care assistant, where I spent 3 years supporting residents. After that, I transitioned to the wellbeing team, a role I’ve been in for the past 7 years.
I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. I thrive on the opportunity to bring joy to someone’s day, and every day presents new challenges and rewards. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a smile on a resident’s face, knowing I’ve contributed to their well-being.
