Our experience is a very nice, clean and well-run home, all the staff are once and friendly. The residents are well looked after and well cared for, in my view I have no complaints at all, hats off to all the staff at the home, all are very helpful and caring.
Thank you for your lovely review of our home, we always strive to provide the best care for our residents and we are pleased that you are happy.
My grandmother is in this care home, she has received excellent care and she has never been as happy. I know she is safe and well cared for and the food and care you give to each and every one of your residents is outstanding. You go to great lengths to see that they are entertained and cared for and I can't thank you enough for all you do.
The food is very good lots of choice throughout the week and on the day, drinks and snacks are always available and encouragement for hydration. There is a hairdresser who visits the care home once a week and this is a lovely opportunity for mum to feel special. The staff make sure Mum is cared for and her thoughts are taken into consideration. We are very grateful for all the support and care given and this helps Dad with any anxiety he feels when leaving Mum on an evening. Thank you to all involved.
My mother-in-law unfortunately was in the care of Laureate Court Care Home only for a very short time until she passed away. The staff were so caring, they looked after her with love and respect. Even though she was bed-bound they made sure she was dressed, her hairdo and perfume on. They had listened to how I spoke about how she was always conscious never to go anywhere without looking the lady she was. I could go on and on with the compliments but I have run out of space. Many thanks to everyone in the nursing side.
Thank you for your kind words. It was our absolute pleasure to care for your mother-in-law. I will ensure your review is relayed to all the staff.
So pleasantly surprised on my first visit. The home was immaculate and welcoming, all nicely trimmed up for Easter. The staff were a credit to the home. I felt at ease knowing how well looked after our relative is.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased that you are happy with our home and staff and will be sure to pass the comments on.
It was my first visit to this home. My sister's room was clean and well equipped. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. When I visited, the local GP made a video visit with my sister, which I found reassuring. Overall, a good first visit.

I live in Perth, Australia and have just visited my mum who is a new resident of Laurette Court. Before I even visited I knew it was a friendly, caring place from when I telephoned. It is fantastic. My mum is happy here, and extremely well cared for. The food is brilliant and the activities and chance to chat to many people is awesome.
My mind is at rest knowing my mum is so happy.
Thank you for your kind words. We have so enjoyed your company when you come to spend time with mum, you're both such a joy. It is our absolute pleasure to care for her.
Any time I have visited my sister at Laureate, I have been impressed by how at ease she is and how pleasant the carers are and all the other staff. Thank you.
Always clean areas.
Very well run place.
Brother has been there several years now and never had any problems.
He was difficult to place anywhere but now has a secure home.

Fantastic activity program residents actively participate in a wide range of activities. Very approachable manager. High level of cleanliness. Cannot fault this home at all.

All staff are very friendly, the home is really clean and looked after. Residents have lots of social interaction and the care home encouraged residents to participate. My auntie has never looked better in herself since she has been in their care. Thank you to all staff, we really appreciate it as a family.

Excellent entertainment for the resident and visitors. Staff really friendly. Made us all feel very welcome.
We are glad you enjoyed the entertainment. Family and friends are always welcome.
Mum was moved to Laureate Court in early 2023 after a long spell in the hospital and in another home. The change I have seen in Mum is amazing. She still has some down days, but we can cope with them because the better days far out way the bad. Mum is no longer lonely and has recently had her first shopping trip out since August 22. They not only care for Mum, but they are also so welcoming to us and make us feel at home, which goes a long way for me.
Thank you for such positive feedback. We are equally pleased to see the change and progress in mum and it was an absolute delight to spend the day shopping and lunching with her. We can't wait for the next trip.
From the beginning staff were warm, friendly, welcoming and homely, making it feel a good place to be. At every visit, I observed all staff to treat the residents with kindness, dignity and respect. Having visited many homes during my work in the community, Laureate Court Care Home restored my faith in the homes and I am already recommending the care home to anyone who may need its services.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are delighted that we have restored your faith in care homes.
I cannot recommend the home highly enough!
Thank you for your kind words and lovely feedback. We are so pleased that the care we have provided has given you peace of mind.
My mum has recently moved here and I couldn't be happier. The staff are amazing, providing both the physical and mental care and help she needs. Everyone, from management to the chef, has been fantastic with not only my mum but our family as well, making us feel welcome and at home. A massive thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words, it is our pleasure to care for your mum and we are delighted that you feel at home, which is what we strive for.
I have found Laureate Court to be a home away from home for my mum. She is happy and settled, has made new friends and is eating, sleeping and moving about much better than she has since June, when she broke her arm. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
Thank you for your kind words, and for trusting us to look after your mum, it is our pleasure.
My brother has been in residence at Laureate Court since February 2022 and it has improved his life immeasurably. He's very happy and content and all the staff and management are very kind, caring and professional.
Thank you for your kind words, its our pleasure to look after your brother.

Meet the Team (5)

I decided to pursue my dream of working in the care sector and have worked in Forensic, ASD and challenging behaviour-based organisations. I then made the decision to move pathways and work within a residential setting. I have been with Runwood Homes since 2021. I started as a Deputy Manager at Rose House and quickly progressed to home manager. I am now the Registered Home Manager for Laureate Court and have been at the home since July 2022.
I have never felt so supported as I do with Runwood Homes; they are not just my work colleagues, it feels like one big family.

Hi, my name is Angie, and I have had the privilege of working in the care industry for the past 13 years across various care settings. Throughout my career, I can honestly say that Laureate Court has been the best place I’ve worked. It truly feels like coming to work with your family every day, and that extends to not only the residents but also their families and the staff. The sense of community and care here is unmatched.
In my personal time, I enjoy walking and running, staying active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I'm John. I am the Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager at Laureate Court.
I joined Laureate Court 3 years ago as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager. With 30 years of experience as a nurse, predominantly in the care home sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. Before my career in healthcare, I worked for 9 years with the Department of Work and Pensions.
What drives me most is spending quality time with the residents and knowing that, no matter how small the act, I’ve made a positive difference in their day. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of their journey and provide care that truly matters.

Hi there! I’m Hannah, and I’m passionate about connecting with people and getting to know their stories. My journey started in the domestic field, where I learnt a lot about care, patience, and attention to detail. Over time, I transitioned into an admin role, where I still get to interact with people and make them feel welcome.
One of my favourite things about my job now is spending time chatting with families and learning about the backgrounds and experiences of the residents. I love hearing their stories and understanding what makes each person unique. It’s so rewarding to build these connections.
Outside of work, I’m all about quality time with my 12-year-old. We have a blast together, especially when we're adding to my growing Lego collection. It’s something we both really enjoy, and it’s a great way for us to bond and get creative. I believe in the importance of both professional and personal growth, and I strive to bring that same energy into everything I do.

I'm Sharon. I'm the Lifestyle Coordinator at Laureate Court.
I have had the privilege of working at Laureate Court for nearly 10 years. My journey began as a care assistant, where I spent 3 years supporting residents. After that, I transitioned to the wellbeing team, a role I’ve been in for the past 7 years.
I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. I thrive on the opportunity to bring joy to someone’s day, and every day presents new challenges and rewards. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a smile on a resident’s face, knowing I’ve contributed to their well-being.
