My mother has been here for over three years now and has a very good relationship with staff as she can be very shy and they gently encourage her to take part in activities.
She gets all the attention she needs with healthcare, cannot fault the staff.

My friend came here in January what a lovely place this is. They are so friendly and has a lovely atmosphere ‘ it’s not like a care home it’s like a big extended family. There are lovely care homes you just have to look around you get a feeling so thank you ‘ and be proud of what you have.

I have visited my aunt twice since she moved in. On both occasions, I have been really impressed with how friendly and caring the staff are and what a lovely place it is. I visit a few care homes and this one is by far the best. I feel reassured that my auntie is being well cared for. Thanks.

A shining example to all caregivers and providers. Thank you. Mum was a resident at Orchard Blythe for seven years.
She was very happy during this time. The family were always made to feel welcome and included. We were treated with respect at all times. It was mum's wish that Orchard Blythe would be
her final home but unfortunately, this was not to be. She needed a level of nursing beyond Orchard's boundaries. All staff gave mum and family 100%. Nothing was too much trouble. Exemplary care.

Orchard Blythe is such a fantastic care home. The staff are fantastic, my nan was a long term resident, and she received so much fantastic care. The staff treated her with so much care, and we couldn't have asked for a better home for her to be in, I have absolutely no complaints at all, such an amazing

I have been looking for a suitable care home for my mom who has Alzheimer's and Orchard Blythe was so welcoming and homely. I have been in hundreds of care homes in my profession and this one had fantastic caring staff and is led by an experienced, long-serving manager who expected excellence from her
staff. My mom is so happy here and we feel part of the Orchard family when we visit. It is so relaxed and all on one level in the lovely town of Coleshill. My sisters and I could not have wished for a better place to accommodate Mom. I would fully recommend visiting and having a look around.

We had to make the difficult decision of finding a care home for Mom after home care was no longer an option. Orchard Blythe and the staff have restored our faith in care homes! I have recommended this home to friends who are currently experiencing the same heart breaking decision. The staff are caring,
kind and thoughtful. It really is a lovely home. Mom enjoys the food. They have a lovely outdoor area. We have never felt unwelcome and it feels like one big family. We take Mom out as and when we want. For us, it is just a bonus knowing when we leave her she is safe and happy. My Mom even said ‘I can’t believe this is all mine!’ We never have any problems returning Mom to her home. Don’t look anywhere else. The costs of care homes are expensive but we can’t put a price on how we all live without stress and worry now. The value of this one is worth every penny. Just a massive thank you to everyone involved in Mom’s care.

Mom was living alone at home when her health suddenly deteriorated and she needed 24/7 care. On that very day Orchard Blythe was contacted, they came around, did an assessment and found her accommodation with them there and then. Although she was only at Orchard Blythe for three weeks before she unexpectedly
passed away, Mom experienced nothing but loving care and attention from the staff. It was a great relief for the family to know that her sudden passing was not alone and was with her carers she came to consider as friends. The care and compassion also shown to the family throughout was heartfelt and genuine. I cannot recommend Orchard Blythe, its facilities or care, especially in such difficult times looking after a loved one in need, more highly.

My father moved to Orchard Blythe in January 2018 when he became incapable of supporting himself. He received wonderful care and support from the carers and staff as he gradually deteriorated into old age, eventually passing away on 1st October 2018 at the grand age of 92.
It was good to see some of
the carers at his funeral and I know there were many more who would have liked to have been there but they had to maintain their shifts.
On dad's behalf, I say thank you to you all for the work you do and the dedication and love you put into it.
A wonderful environment in which to enjoy loving care as needed and support at end of life.

I last did a review for this home in January 2018 saying how pleased I was and that my Nan was doing so well. It’s now 10 months since her admission and she is still looking well, her weight has been stable and she is eating and drinking well. Staff are still really good, care in my eyes is excellent
and the staff so respectful. The manager is quick to reply when I email or ring up, she is so dedicated to the residents, staff and families, always willing to help. It’s nice to say thank you to everyone who takes care of Nan.

My Auntie has been at this home for quite a few months now, and in that time I have seen great care and attention to detail, the staff are respectful, and always willing to listen, When you first walk in the atmosphere is lovely and always welcoming, its nice to know that there are good care homes out

Hi I've been visiting my close friend who is being well looked after by all caring staff everyone is very approachable even the manager is very lovely too she always happy to have a chat with a lovely smile and always very welcoming nothing is too much bother for the manager overall I think is one
off the nicer care homes I've been to the whole care home is presented lovely and has a nice atmosphere I will definitely recommend this lovely care home to all wow! what can I say it’s just a really nice care home.

Hayley Ford

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2005

I have been involved in care since the age of 16. My career began at Caldwell Grange in 1983, where I worked until I was 21, leaving briefly after the birth of my first son. I continued my journey in the care sector, supporting both elderly individuals and those with learning disabilities throughout the district.


I dedicated 33 years to Warwickshire County Council until the homes were transferred to Runwood Homes in 2013. For the past 20 years, I’ve proudly served as the Manager at Orchard Blythe, part of the Runwood Homes group. Throughout my career, my focus has always been on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring our residents are at the heart of everything we do.


I have consistently worked hard to achieve strong CQC outcomes. At our last inspection, we were rated ‘Good’ in four areas and received an ‘Outstanding’ in Well-Led, something I am incredibly proud of. My goal at Orchard Blythe is to maintain or even exceed these standards.


On a personal note, I have two grown-up children. My son, now 37, is a Sergeant in the Royal Marines and has served since the age of 18. My daughter, aged 34, is a Team Leader at a fibre optics company. I am also a proud grandparent to two grandchildren, aged 13 and 6.

Lisa Morgan

I’m Lisa Morgan, and I’ve been a cook for the past 28 years. I truly love my job and enjoy interacting with the residents, often being the first to dress up and get involved in activities. I take great pride in creating a positive atmosphere and engaging with everyone in the home.


In my spare time, I’ve learnt to knit, enjoy walking with my dog, and listen to music. I find these activities relaxing and fulfilling outside of my busy role.

I joined Orchard Blythe in 2017 as a Finance Administrator, bringing with me over 30 years of experience in administration. With a background in nursing and occupational therapy, I offer a unique perspective that allows me to connect deeply with both staff and residents.


Before joining Orchard Blythe, I worked as an occupational therapist in an older people’s setting, where I developed a passion for improving the quality of life for seniors. In my current role as Finance Administrator, I manage the day-to-day financial operations of the home, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.


My responsibilities include liaising with families, managing contracts, overseeing budgets, and coordinating financial reporting.


In addition to my administrative duties, I enjoy participating in activities with the residents, fostering a sense of community and connection. I believe that engaging with residents is essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment.


I am dedicated to my work and take great pride in my compassionate approach, which I feel makes me a valued member of the Orchard Blythe team.
