HC-One’s Windsor Court Care Home in Wetherby recently opened its doors for a heartwarming Community Coffee Morning, inviting residents, families, and local visitors to enjoy tea, coffee, and a delicious selection of cakes in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Held every Tuesday at 11am, the coffee morning offers carers and community members a supportive environment to socialise, share experiences, and connect with others in similar situations. Each week, a fun activity accompanies the event, and this theme for the most recent coffee morning event held featured a lively game of hangman with famous movie stars and authors, sparking plenty of laughs and friendly competition.
The Community Coffee Morning at Windsor Court Care Home warmly welcomes everyone from the local community to join in, share a chat, and enjoy some fun each week.
Ursula Herbert, Activities Co-ordinator at Windsor Court Care Home, said: "We had a full house at our most recent coffee morning, and it felt wonderful. It gave visitors a chance to have someone to talk to in a relaxing informal environment, as well as providing a lovely social occasion for our residents."
