A Special Veterans’ Afternoon

Falmouth Court Care Home welcomed local veterans, residents, and families for a special Veterans’ Afternoon celebrating those who have served.

The event featured poems by resident Sylvia, a moving performance of the Last Post by Rob Brown, and uplifting flute music that encouraged guests to sing along. Veterans shared memories over afternoon tea, with wartime photographs helping spark conversation. Resident Kay, a former Wren, and fellow resident Phil also shared treasured photos.

General Manager, Catalin Danciu, said: “It was an honour to bring our veterans and community together for such a meaningful celebration.”

Falmouth Court thanks everyone who made the event so special.
