A bright sunny morning in Westergate House’s Memory Lane community and we were filled with energy and warmth for the day. Residents gathered in the lounge for one of our popular activities led by the amazing care staff. Ball games, designed to promote movement, laughter, and social interaction, had everyone fully engaged. The activity began with simple ball passes, encouraging our residents to stretch their arms, improve coordination and promote movement. We moved on to seated volley ball and light catching games, helping to boost confidence and stimulate memory through teamwork and familiar routines. There was definitely an air of competition! A fun and uplifting start to the day
