Residents at Astley View Care Home in Chorley have been getting into the Christmas spirit with a festive wreath-making workshop, ahead of the home’s community Christmas Market on Saturday 6th December, 1pm–4pm.

Led by the lifestyle team, the activity brought residents together to create their own Christmas wreaths using fresh foliage, ribbons and seasonal decorations. The session encouraged creativity, conversation and reminiscence, with many residents sharing memories of Christmas traditions.

Home Manager Christina Durnan said: “Christmas is always a special time at Astley View. The wreath-making workshop filled the home with colour and laughter, and it’s lovely to see residents enjoying the build-up to our Christmas Market. We’re looking forward to welcoming the community on Saturday.”
