Carolyne House Hosts Festive Charity Morning

Carolyne House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly hosted a heart-warming Coffee, Tea and Cake Morning on 3 December 2025, bringing together residents, relatives, staff, and volunteers to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Commenting on the event, Charlotte, Lifestyle Coordinator at Carolyne House, said: “Lovely selections of cakes, and a great cause to raise for.”

The morning featured a delicious array of homemade cakes and refreshments, all sold in exchange for donations. The initiative, inspired by Runwood Homes’ ongoing commitment to community engagement and charitable support, provided an opportunity for everyone involved to contribute to a meaningful cause.

The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer, complete with seasonal music, Elf costumes, and plenty of tasty treats. Attendees described the event as fun and uplifting, noting that it was simply “a great time.”

Funds raised will support the Alzheimer’s Society’s essential work in providing care, research, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by dementia.

Carolyne House extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, residents, relatives, and staff who helped make the event a memorable and meaningful success.
