Henley House, a Greensleeves Care home in Ipswich, has achieved the prestigious Gold Standards Framework (GSF) accreditation for exceptional end-of-life and palliative care. The award reflects the home’s commitment to delivering compassionate, personalised and dignified support for residents and their families.
Henley House provides high-quality residential and dementia care in a modern, welcoming setting on the north side of Ipswich. As a not-for-profit home, all income is reinvested into enhancing the environment and supporting outstanding care.
Fewer than 350 care homes in the UK currently hold GSF accreditation, which recognises excellence in helping people to live well and die well. To achieve the award, colleagues completed specialist training, submitted a detailed evidence portfolio and hosted an in-person assessment to demonstrate that best-practice end-of-life care is embedded throughout the home.
Rebecca Bewley, Home Manager at Henley House, said:
“I am incredibly proud of our team for achieving Gold Standards Framework accreditation. This recognition reflects the compassion and professionalism our colleagues show every day. Families trust us at some of life’s most sensitive moments, and we are honoured to provide care that offers comfort, dignity and reassurance.”
Henley House joins 18 Greensleeves Care homes that have now achieved GSF accreditation.
