‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY AT LOCAL CARE HOME

Barchester’s Maple Leaf Lodge care home, in Grantham, got in the Christmas spirit by hosting a Bauble and Bubbles event. Residents enjoyed a wonderfully festive afternoon as we gathered together for our Bauble Making & Bubbly event. The cafe was filled with laughter, creativity and a touch of sparkle as everyone designed their own personalised Christmas baubles.

Maple Leaf Lodge’s event was in full swing with a glass of bubbly in hand, residents chatted, shared stories, and helped one another bring their ideas to life. From snow and ribbons to mini-Christmas trees and presents, each bauble became a unique keepsake.

General Manager, Kerry said: “Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year and our fantastic residents love to get festive so we’ve pulled out all the stops. It is so lovely to see them all getting into the Christmas spirit, it’s definitely my favourite time of year.”

Eileen, resident at said: “It has been a lovely afternoon. I really enjoyed the glass of bubbly and company of everyone else!”
