Residents at Shoreham care home enjoy a Christmas Market

Kingsland House was brimming with festive spirit this week as residents, families, and staff came together for a heart-warming Christmas Market made up of local stall holders. Twinkling fairy lights, mince pies, and the sound of cheerful laughter created a magical atmosphere that brought joy to all who attended.

Stalls lined the lounge and reception, offering handmade crafts, candles, seasonal treats and gifts for all! It was great way to enable the residents that aren’t able to get out to purchase Christmas presents for their loved ones. Staff who were working were also able to shop for gifts and the local community were invited too making it a huge success.

Home Manager Ana Hyne said: "This is a great way for our residents to be able to shop without having to go out or rely on others to choose for them. Even for those who didn’t purchase anything still loved to see what was on offer."

A resident bought all of her Christmas presents for her family and is looking forward to another market next year.
