Graysford Hall Hosts a Magical Santa’s Grotto Afternoon

Graysford Hall, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, was transformed into a festive wonderland on Friday 12 December, hosting a special Santa’s Grotto Afternoon that brought seasonal cheer to residents and their families.

Organised by the Home Manager and Customer Relations Manager, the home created a warm and inviting Santa’s Grotto where residents were welcomed for an afternoon of Christmas celebration. Residents enjoyed indulgent hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and mini marshmallows before receiving a personal visit from Santa Claus himself.

Each resident was given a special ticket to meet Santa, allowing them to enjoy one-to-one time filled with conversation, laughter, and festive cheer. Every resident received a thoughtful gift, while family members joined the celebrations, making the occasion even more meaningful. The afternoon was filled with storytelling, fun, and laughter, with many residents jokingly admitting they may have landed on Santa’s ‘naughty list’.

The event was made possible through the efforts of Sorina, Home Manager; Ronni Jones and Beth, Customer Relations Managers; and the Lifestyle Team, who worked together to create a truly memorable experience for residents and their loved ones.
