Outstanding Achievements

Care Fulfilment Home – The Corner House, Wash Lane, Clacton has good reason to celebrate after winning two prestigious awards from the Essex Care Sector Awards 2019. There were over 175 nominations for the awards, the highest since the awards have been running.

The first is Infection Prevention & Control, an award to recognise excellent practise in reducing risk of infection. The light sensor detects movement meaning there is no need to touch switches, the fact that The Corner House continually strives to achieve great results and searches for new ways to improve were mentioned in particular. A Diploma for Housekeeping was introduced and six proud staff members have achieved this. In house Training which tailors its content to suit the home is also a great asset.
