I have visited my auntie on two seperate occasions. I can't rate highly enough, the care that she receives. The staff are so kind, caring and professional. My aunties room is lovely and cosy and the lounges well set out. The garden area is beautiful and peaceful. She is very happy there, and gives me peace of mind that she is being very well cared for. Please keep up the excellent work you should all be very proud of yourselves.

Upon my first visit to the Home, I found it clean and tidy very well run the staff interact with the residence very well there seems to be plenty of activities for the residence music quizzes the residence get taken out a lot down to the seafront, overall I found the Home a very lovely environment for the residence
It is wonderful to know my sister is well cared for. She receives care and attention from all staff, whatever their grade. There are lots of activities which relatives can also join in.
My dad has been in Corner House since Dec 2024. He has always been treated with dignity and compassion. The staff are all truly amazing. Always polite, professional, friendly and happy. The activities and visitors to entertain residents are amazing and enjoyable. Every real life eggs to watch chicks hatch over Easter. Thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for your review. We will share this with staff.
My mother has been resident here for nearly a year now. In that time she has made a new home for herself. Staff are all without exception exemplary. The level of care is dedicated to all levels. Personal needs and requests are considered and delivered. The environment is overall friendly, exceptionally clean. Food is of a very high standard. I believe the corner house is the best home for my mother, she is happy here and I'm happy she is in the best place.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. WE share all our reviews with our staff and they will be so pleased that Your Mum enjoys all aspects of the Care Home life. Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review.
I have been visiting from Australia. It was lovely to see my mum being care for so well. The staff are very caring and compassionate. Food is excellent plenty to tempt mum. There are plenty of activities but sadly I think mum prefers her room. My only negative comment is that mum obviously has accidents toileting and it can make the room very smelly at times. I am a bit sensitive to smells though!!
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments about Odours and we will ensure that due to your Mum spending a lot of time oon her room, we will deep clean it daily. Kind regards Kate Emery
I have always found the running of this home very professional with the care of the residents as premier concern. Unthough not tried myself the food on offer to the residents seems plentiful and freshly prepared.
Thank you for your review. We will share with our staff.
Mum and dad went to live in Corner House residential home in 2024. I was very anxious at first because I live so far away I could only see them occasionally. I needn't have worried they were looked after very well. Dad passed last year and his care was exemplary and everyone missed him with some of the carers coming to his funeral. Mum has dementia and when she went to live in corner house she was a meer shell of herself. Since then she has become more alert, she eats well and really enjoys some of the activities. The staff put pictures and little videos of the residents taking part in the activities on their social media page. I go on every day to see if I can see Mum and its such a joy to see her joining in. When I go to see mum she always looks happy and well cared for. The staff really care about the residents and are always planning activities and little outings. I don't get anxious anymore because there really is no need to.
Thank you for a wonderful review. We feel so privileged looking after your parents, and we were so sad at your Dad's passing. Your Mum is a shing light in our home and when she smiles, she lights up the room. We will share your review with all staff. Thank you for your kind words
Although my dad has since passed away the care, dignity and kindness shown was exceptional.
Thank you Corner House.
Thank you Lesley for you very emotional review of our staff. Your mum inspires us daily with her resilience and strength. Thank you so much for a beautiful review.

You all do an incredible job, with due dilligence care, concern and smile on your face. All the staff make visitors and guests feel at ease in what could be such a difficult time in peoples likes thank you all.
Thank you so much for your Review. we share all reviews with staff, thank you for recognising our amazing team.
Mum has been at the home for a year now and just celebrated her 90th birthday. We had a small family party and the home made it a really special day. They helped decorate a private room and supplied a terrific buffet. We can't thank the staff involved enough. Mum has settled in so well and it's a relief to know she is safe and cared for
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad the party went well. Its so important for families to celebrate and create more memories with their loved ones. Thank you again for your review.
My grandmother has been in this care home the last two years and I couldn't ask for a better home. The staff go above and beyond to make sure she is looked after but also having fun and entertained. The weekly activities are amazing, even the option to get your nails painted makes it feel like a home not just a care home, which was one of the things that was really important to my family and one of the reasons we chose this home.
Thank you so much for your review. We love supporting your Grandmother and she always joins in with all our activities and loves to dance We hope to see you soon. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We will share it with all staff.
Lovely staff + mums friend very well looked after. Kind + caring.
Thank you so much for your review. Thank you for taking the time to review our home.
Mum is currently in respite, awaiting hip replacement. She feels and is, well cared for. The staff cannot do enough for her. Food wise, only thing which can be said is Excellent! Mum has settled well and is still finding her way under her terms and is considering moving into full time care, after her surgery. Well done Kate and staff and thank you.
Thank you so much for your review and we are so happy your Mum has decided to stay. I'm glad she feels so comfortable to be herself and do what she wishes to do each day in the home. Thank you for trusting us to look after your Mum.
I am the carer for my 92yr old husband Peter, who has dementia Alzeimer's. I am 81yrs old and on Sept 25th 2025 I had to go into hospital for a cornea transplant necessitating convalescing for a few weeks. I could not care for Peter; so required respite for him. Corner House agreed to respite care from 25th Sept to 19th Oct. Peter thrived and enjoyed the care home. His room was immaculate with a garden view and access. Daily activities were many and varied and Peter joined in happily with staff and residents. I could watch his participation on social media daily. Food was plentiful and the menu varied, star quality cakes and cuisine was available at all times if desired. Excellent care and support was constant. The manager was present and interested in all aspects of the care provided. The staff, senior and all ranks and manager are to be congratulated on a well run establishment and happy residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Corner House to potential users and would use their services again if required in the future.
Thank you so much for your review and it was so good to see you both again at our Halloween party. I so hope to see you both at our events in December. We are so glad that we were able to support you both when you needed us. Please pop in anytime if you wish to join in with our activities or enjoy...
I attended The Corner House family day for an old friend. I do not have a relative in this home but it was very clear that the care and attention to residents was very high. So much was put into the day and the lady I know clearly loved it.
Thank you for attending our event. We plan to have many more in 2026, and we hope to see you then.
