My Dad has been at the home since Feb 25. I definitely made the right choice for my Dad. Staff make you feel like you a part of one big family. They are attentive and caring to all residents. The entertainment they provide for residents is top class. The home gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Thank you for looking after my Dad.

I came to the fete and was impressed by how friendly the staff were. They cared for the residents very well. It's lovely to see that there is an effort made to entertain the residents.
Thank you so much for attending. We raised 1000 for our residents dreams to come true. Thank you again for supporting us.
My mum has only been a resident for 2 weeks but what I have experienced so far has been very good. The home is always very clean, staff are friendly and welcoming and the residents seem content.

I am impressed in general by the atmosphere of this home and how they are looking after my friend who has dementia. Always patient and pleasant and the facilities - enclosed gardens and relaxed atmosphere encouraging residents to live their lives to the fullest.

Corner House Care Home is brilliant. The care that the gave to my mother was impeccable, they have loads of activities for residents, food is good and the staff are amazing, they definitely go that extra mile for their residents. Nothing is too much trouble, well done all of you.
Thank you for taking the time to give us lovely review. It was our pleasure to care for your mother. Your kind comments will be passed on to all our staff at the Corner House.
I'm always happy to write a few words of praise for the caring team looking after my sister. The Corner House is a comfortable, friendly, well run care home. The staff are so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. My sister is always dressed in coordinating outfits, which, to me, is a sign of going the extra mile. There are plenty of activities organised and special days are observed. The standard of cleanliness is good, and my sister's room is kept spotlessly clean. My grateful thanks.
Thank you so much for your review. We love supporting your Sister and we know how much she likes to look her best. We will pass on your lovely review to all of our staff. Thank you
My mother has been in the home for 2 months. Mum has missed out on so much in life, we are so pleased to see her happy again and pleased to see her happy again and experience things that she has not done in a long time. We thank the staff for everything that they do for her. I am so happy with the home. Thank you very much.
We are pleased to hear that your mum has settled in so well, and is enjoying her new home. It is rewarding for our staff to receive positive feedback and to know that they are making a difference to our resident's wellbeing. Thank you for taking the time to give us this wonderful review.
The Corner House is simply the best. The care, food, staff, kitchen manager, everyone who works there, are truly amazing all always happy staff you can talk to, it's just a really lovely home. I would be happy to send any parent there.
Thank you for your review. We will share with our staff team.
The cleaners are always chatting to mum as they work & the carers, though always busy, still manage to have time for her. The management staff are wonderful & attentive & always on hand should any concerns crop up which they deal with promptly. The activities are fantastic & mum is always saying that she has got so much to do that she doesn't know where the time goes. She has been out a few times to different places with the staff & always looks forward to these jaunts, yesterday was a trip to the seafront for lunch & refreshments in a beach hut, she loved it!
So all in all a very contented resident & family that has nothing but praise for the care my mum is receiving.
Thank you so much for your lovely review which we will share with all staff. We are planning more outings and will keep you updated.
We cannot express our sincere gratitude enough to the staff for the care and compassion they showed our nan during her stay. This includes the care staff, and specifically the management and finances team for always being on hand for any queries, or questions. They were more than happy to explain things, multiple times, and really took the time to make sure we understood as much of nans care as possible. They protected Nan, and cared for her like she was one of their family, and even in death they treated her with dignity- compassion like this is what all care and nursing homes should strive for.
Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry for your loss. It was our privilege to care for your nan, she was an amazing lady, who we all continue to miss each day. Our love and thoughts to you and your family.
Mums 86th Birthday. The Corner House thank you so much. As you can imagine, birthdays become more special as older you get and you helped us to make mums a very special one. From you House-keepers, the kitchen Staff, all the Care Staff and the Managment made it a super special day. Which we all will hold as a memory on our hands. you decorated the Bar for us, laid on a beautiful buffet, provided coffee, tea and juice, and made all of us welcome even so we were 18 people who came and invaded your home. 4 generations were able to be with mum and wished her happy Birthday and showed her how much she is loved. Thank you.
We are so pleased that you were all able to celebrate the day with your Mum on her birthday. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review and letting us know how much you appreciated the efforts made by our staff to make the day special.
Have been visiting for just over 2 years. The staff are lovely. There has been a change of management and although always great. It is even better.
Thank you so much for your review. Thank you for your support and recognising the changes we have made.
My mother has been in the Corner House since August 24 all her needs have been met. She is not lonely anymore. It is nice and warm and comfortable. Her clothes are always clean as is her room. She finds the food delicious and enjoys meal time. Activities are endless and so interesting with themes relating to the month and events going on. The staff are excellent and so very caring and kind. I cannot fault this wonderful care home.
We are pleased that you feel we offer an wonderful home to our lovely residents. The whole team strive to provide this daily, and it is rewarding for us to receive a glowing review to reflect this. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review.
We placed our Mum in Corner House and we can say we are so pleased with our choice. It has new management which has been good for the home. The atmosphere in the home is always happy and pleasant. The staff are always approachable and happy. The care our mum receives is at a high standard. We don't worry when we are not with her, also the communication between us and the home is excellent. The food is really good and the choice is always for the residents. The manager is always approachable and caring, helpful, and nothing is too much trouble.
Nothing is too much trouble for this team, they always go the extra mile to ensure my sister-in-law is safe, warm and especially anything she wants to eat. Great job, and I feel secure with the knowledge my sister-in-law is well.
Thank you so much for your lovely review which we will share with staff.
I feel comfortable coming to visit my grandparents here at the corner house. The staff are welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful. There are a range of activities for all residents to get involved in everyday throughout the week. This ranges from music sessions, arts and crafts, pamper sessions, science experiments and lots more. My grandparents say they enjoy the food and the choices available. My Grandpa and Nana appear happy and settled living here. They both socialise with other residents living at the Corner house, and the staff. Family are able to visit whenever. Family are involved a lot with the care homes events and it is a lovely environment to be involved within especially knowing my Grandpa and Nana are happy and heard.
Thank you so much for your review. It's so lovely that your whole family visit regularly, we love your input Thank you for your support.
Since the new manager and entertainment manager have started the atmosphere in the home has improved. The manager is more prominent in the daily interaction with the residents and the staff seem happier. And the food looks brilliant! I can't select a rating for 'Value For Money' because I don't know the charges.
Thank you for the positive review. The entertainment manager works very hard to ensure that our residents are kept busy and entertained every week. Our residents and staff have all been enjoying the new menu and home made desserts.
Brilliant all round service.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a glowing review. Our staff are all willing to assist our residents and visitors to the best of our abilities. I will ensure that our Laundry team are made aware of your kind comments.
