Mark Barnett, Financial and Care Fee Planning Specialist, and member of SOLLA (The Society of Later Life Advisers) will discuss the various methods of paying for care for ‘self-funders’. He will go through what might be available from the Local Authority and the NHS, and also answer the following questions:

- Will I have to sell my property to pay for care?
- Are there likely to be any changes to care fee funding in the near future?
- How can I ensure that I don’t run out of funds and can therefore remain in my care home of choice?
- Are there any estate planning or tax advantages?

The intention is for the presentation to last for around 30 minutes, and Mark will then be available for private consultations’.
