Blatchington Manor have a variety of exciting activities coming up in July, including:

Throughout July
All through July Blatchington Manor will be hosting tea in the garden and inviting resident’s family and friends to stop by and spend some time with everyone

Saturday 3rd – Alice Day
There will be a special Alice in Wonderland themed day with quizzes, singing, and a movie night with a showing of the original film

Saturday 3rd – England vs Ukraine EUROS 2020
With kick off at 8.00pm, the match will be shown in the communal lounge with beer and snack

Wednesday 7th – World chocolate day
Celebrating all things chocolate with themed quizzes and chocolate tasting

Saturday 10th – Help the bees day
There will be bee themed activities including games of count the bees, garden searches, and tasting honey sandwiches

Monday 12th – National doughnut week
To celebrate delicious doughnuts there will be doughnuts on the pier, reminiscing, and doughnut tasting

Tuesday 13th – Blatchington Church visit
From 11.00am the local Church will be visiting to provide a religious service in the garden with prayers, and hymns. Communion will also be available for those wishes to take

Wednesday 14th – Bastille Day
There will be French themed activities taking place including enjoying croissants for breakfast, baking French bread, and a special cheese and wine evening

Friday 23rd – Summer Olympics
Blatchington Manor will be hosting their own Olympic games in the gardens with medals, and prizes to be won. There will also be games of predicting who will win each tournament

Thursday 29th – Global tiger day
There will be tiger themed activities including tiger crafts. Staff and residents will be providing photos of their cats to make a beautiful cat collage to be displayed in the home. There will also be a coffee morning in the garden where there will be games of spot the cat
