Fountains care home in partnership with Harper Fields care home in Balsall Common, are hosting a Community Christmas talk by guest speaker - keen historian Mary Bodfish.
Mary will be taking us on a journey "From Christmas past to Christmas present"
Behind all the elements of the great annual festival of family, feasting and fun as we celebrate it today, is a history that stretches back through the Victorians, the Middle Ages and the Romans - all the way to our most remote pagan ancestors.
