Hi, I’m Alina, and I am the General Manager at Fountains Care Home.

I joined the team on October 25, but I have been a general manager in the care sector since 2021. Before becoming a General Manager, I worked as a Deputy Manager, and a Clinical Lead and I have spent time working in the NHS and private hospitals.

I am committed to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and empower my teams to do the same, ultimately focusing on what Residents can do, not what they can’t. The priority is ensuring that our Residents live a happy and fulfilled life at Fountains and that together with our staff team, family, friends and the community we create an inclusive culture and homely feel.

Outside of work, I keep busy with family life, and when I want to unwind can be found on the golf course.

My name is Vikki, and I joined Barchester and the team at the Fountains in 2023. I am the home administrator. I deal with all aspects of the administration in the home to ensure it runs smoothly. I have built good relationships with residents, relatives and the team. I enjoy every day at the Fountains and enjoy my job. I have been impressed by the dedication and hard work of all who work here. The Fountains is a beautiful, modern home and a truly unique environment to work in.

I joined Barchester in October 2021 and working in the care sector is an exciting and new experience for me.

I am finding the role extremely rewarding knowing I am making a difference, however small, to our residents and their family's lives.

I joined Barchester in June 2021. I have been in the care sector for over 4 years now. I love coming to work and seeing the residents every day. I am also currently doing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and family and going out on day trips with them all.

Hi, My name is Richard I am a housekeeper here at Fountains.

I Joined Barchester in January 2022. 4 and a half years ago I started caring for my mother and enjoyed it so wanted to get into the care industry.

Since starting at Fountains I have enjoyed my job as I get to help the residents with daily housekeeping tasks keeping their homes up to standard and clean, I also love interacting with potential residents, families and current residents.

In my spare time, I like making art, cooking, listening to music and going to concerts.

Hello! My name is Sophie, and I am a kitchen assistant at Fountain Care Home in Shirley. I take pride in going the extra mile for our residents to ensure they receive the best possible service. I’m always ready to assist with anything they need, going above and beyond to enhance their dining experience.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my friends and family.

Elaine is Fountains hairdresser and is here weekly on Tuesdays. She has over 42 yrs hairdressing experience and started working in Barchester's Edgbaston Beaumont home 12 months ago before adding Fountains to her week too.

Elaine loves pampering and making our residents look fabulous!
