We visited my aunt for the first time, as we live in Canada. She looks well-cared for and the staff was friendly & helpful to both my Aunt & to us. We had a lovely lunch & sat outside in the garden to visit.

A resident started choking at lunch. The staff responded straightaway with the most professional expertise. I am not exaggerating the situation when I say that they saved his life; it was as serious as that. They deserve the highest praise for everything they did to keep him alive before the ambulance
came.

Mom has been a resident at Fountains Care home since November 2024. Mom has settled in and seems content. She has been well looked after. The carers like her and they know us. All staff are ready to answer queries and concerns that we have regarding mom's care. They are aware of mom's needs and they
give her encouragement where necessary.

This was my first experience of a care home and it was excellent. The personnel were all excellent without exception. They were all so helpful, and smiley. The quality of the food was exceptional, constructed with thought and care. Never ordinary gravy but with cider or something added to increase the

The bedroom had all that I needed TV. Remote, wide screen, and large toulet/shower room. Lovely thick towels.
I was so lucky to hit on this home first time.

Mum, myself and my husband attended a lunch BBQ. A lovely event that we all enjoyed, especially Mum, as she enjoys social events. Mum came for a weeks respite care. Fountains has been excellent with her care and all staff found to be friendly and welcoming. The food choices were plentiful and all her visitors, young and old, made very welcome.

My mother was a resident at Fountains for the last five months of her life and we cannot fault the care, professionalism and commitment of the whole team who looked after her.
Fountains provided a wonderful environment for a frail old lady struggling with vascular dementia and a number of age-related
co-morbidities which made staying at home with my 92 year old father no longer possible. The Fountains team welcomed her (and my father, who visited virtually every day), into a beautiful, safe place in which she could live her best life - engaged with and understood by charming and warm staff, engaged and entertained by the activities programme, fed by an expert catering team and where her personal needs were attended to with dignity and skill. When difficulties and crises arose (which they of course do) they were always handled with kindness and professionalism.

Today we participated in the family Christmas dinner. Wow! Staff gave 150%. Named individual placemats, tables decorated. The atmosphere was superb, just like being at a large family gathering. Residents, their families and staff interacting, laughing and chatting over a delicious three-course Christmas
dinner.
The three-course dinner was delicious and served perfectly.
We appreciate how much effort has to go into these functions on top of all the other duties the staff have. This is our first Christmas with Barchester Fountains Care Home and they have made my dad and us feel we are part of a large loving, caring family.

Mom was in this home for a year and received excellent care from all the staff. There were lots of activities for her to get involved in. In her last week of life, her care was especially good and very caring and they looked after me too.
Overall, a lovely, friendly care home.

Mum had a short stay at Barchester Fountains Care Home. We were very pleased with the care she received, staff were friendly and caring and Mum's health and well-being were clearly important to everyone who came into contact with her. More than that, the staff were supportive of us, as a family, and
the difficulties we were going through.
Mum left Fountains refreshed and healthier than when she arrived, just what we wanted for her, we are very grateful.

From the initial assessment, my sister and I knew it was the right place for our Mum. She has settled in very well. Everyone is so helpful, friendly, and kind. I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities at Barchester Fountains Care Home. Mum has been really well looked after by staff showing her respect, dignity and kindness. The facilities, trips and entertainment are carefully organised and appropriate to the residents' requirements. The atmosphere
is always warm, inviting and friendly. The staff work as a wonderful team, watching over the individual residents to ensure their needs are met.
I could not be more happy and have no hesitation in recommending Fountains Care Home to others.

My mum is happy and contented in this home, and the staff are fabulous with her seeing to all her needs. Nothing is too much of a problem and I have great admiration for their skills and professionalism and it is a lovely home for her to spend her last years. The staff take extra trouble in making her
birthday special and provide for the celebrations beautifully.

We have been absolutely delighted by the care and consideration shown to Dad. He is here for a week's respite and it has been reassuring that Dad is so happy. Nothing is too much trouble. The carers always put Dad's needs first and have a lovely manner with all the residents. I cannot praise the staff
enough, from the manager, reception and admin team, housekeeping, catering team and of course, carers, they really do care, not only for the residents but their families too. Thank you to you all!
