Finally a care home that cares. My stepfather moved to Hollins bank early December. We have experienced three care homes over a period of time. I can confidently say he is happy there. All the staff are wonderful always working with a smile and knowing the residents and what they like. From the
moment I first walked in I was met with a warm welcome from reception. I was given a tour which and overwhelmed with what I saw . My stepfather arrived a little later. In the meantime all his room had been organised clothing hung in his wardrobe. The organisation was impressive. He is so settled has routine loves the food, has made new friends. The activities are varied and something for every one. The gardens are well kept. The whole of the home is spotless and all residents always look well turned out. What really stuck with me was the smiles and laughter coming from the communal area.

My mother only spent 10 weeks for end of life care.
Could not praise them highly enough for their care and compassion given to her.

I am so happy my Dad is at Hollins Bank, as I found the staff to be amazing, so caring, attentive, listening to queries or concerns and deal with everything in a professional manner. My dad is also content and satisfied to be at Hollins Bank, which is so reassuring after his illness meant he would
no longer stay at home. The transition was seamless and all the family have felt so supported by all staff at Hollins Bank. Thank you, the care has meant so much at a difficult time, enabling us to feel relaxed.

Over the last few months the cleanliness of the home has dropped dramatically. I can only think that issue is the fact that the cleaning staff have been massively reduced. In relation to the activities, the weekly exercises from a outside source has been stopped as well as the weekly singer. My mum
used to enjoy both of these activities and looked forward to them each week.
I feel the manager goes above and beyond and always treats the residents with dignity and respect. The home would not be the same without her.

I have lived here for over 7 years, I love living here, this is my home. The carers are so good, making sure that I am happy and content. The manager is wonderful, every morning she comes to see how I am and do I need anything. I look forward to the entertainment on a Friday for one hour. I always
have fresh clothes to wear day and night. I would never move from this home.

Since mum has been in the care home her attitude has greatly improved in relation to her having a major stroke. Her appetite has increased her personality is starting to come back, this is due to the management and staff. I am so happy that mum is in this care home as I couldn't have dreamed of it
being any better. The manager is fantastic and all the staff work really hard, they are all a credit to the company. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

My mum spent the final 2 and a half years of her life at Hollins Bank after suffering a stroke in 2014. She enjoyed her time there making friends with staff and residents alike and was well looked after, she loved the entertainment when she could sing along to all the old songs. Thank you all for
making Mum's last years bearable for her, I know how much you cared for her.

I can honestly say this place is truly amazing. The staff are brilliant and care about the residents. They provide entertainment and excel in the little things like nails and hair which my gran loves. The food is lovely in fact too lovely. Truly amazing!!!

My experience at the home has been nothing but positive. The home offers so many activities each day that residents have plenty of fun and exciting things to do. Management and staff are so helpful and friendly, hence why the home is so well run. I would recommend this home to anybody.

Our mum was living independently but had a few falls, so we decided a care home would be best Hollins Bank was recommended by a friend. I cannot say enough about the care.
The staff are friendly, gentle and sympathetic to our mum's needs. They work very hard. Senior managers are always around
if we have any questions.
I would recommend this home to anyone for their relatives.

My mother is very happy in Hollins Bank Care Home due to the care and patience of all the care staff. The daily activities and stimulation mum receive keep her happy and content. Meals are always varied and excellent. As a relative, the management and carers are always smiling and helpful and
informative.
