I've had relatives stay or live in three different care homes and have visited most of the homes in Perthshire. Rumbling Bridge stands out from all the rest because of the staff. Uniquely, the staff here seem happy and keen to help, which makes all the difference. Despite many visits, Rumbling Bridge never smelled like a toilet (many do - it means they're too short staffed to deal with anything quickly), and nobody was asleep in their soup. They try their best to treat everyone with respect.

Staff are very attentive to all of mum's needs. She has fitted in really well and settled down quickly. The environment is lovely and has a really chilled feel about the whole place. Mum is engaging with the other residents, who all make her feel at home. We have nothing but praise for all the staff who are looking after mum. Fantastic Place.

I found the home to be first class. The staff were excellent and very helpful and looked after the clients very very well.

Fantastic place which meets my father's needs. Staff are amazing and have made us feel very welcome. Nothing is ever an issue and any requests have been followed up very promptly. My father has settled well and enjoys everything on offer, which in turn has been great for us as a family knowing he is happy and settled has taken a great pressure off of us.

My son has been well cared for and has really enjoyed his stay here. An excellent care home with lovely staff, very helpful. The overall running of this care home is excellent and cleanliness perfect.

My parents had an urgent admission. I have been really happy with all the staff at Rumbling Bridge these last days since Mum and Dad arrived. They have been really attentive and caring and have gone above and beyond to help them settle.

She is happy here and more settled. Food is great, she said. She's getting the best care I could ask for, as this disease is a very challenging illness. The outings and activities are amazing for all.

It’s a daunting thing, having a family member enter a care home and worrying about what it will be like but I’m so relieved that my mum is so well looked after. The staff are always so helpful and friendly, the place is always clean, there’s always activities on and the staff remember you. Knowing my mum is safe and happy means everything. Thank you so much to all the staff!

My mum is currently in Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home. She is receiving excellent care from all the staff, nurses and chefs. The staff are always friendly, helpful and understanding with all the residents. They always welcome you with a smile and nothing is any trouble for them. Great team of staff.

Very pleased with the high standard of the premises. Very clean and extremely helpful staff. Helped me to settle in well. Great views from my room over the hills. Very happy with the facilities on offer.

Excellent care from all staff, they are all extremely well trained, especially dealing with Huntington patients. I always find staff helpful and pleasant. The manager is excellent, the care home has a bright, pleasant feeling since she came back, management are always visible and happy to update me on my husband, they feel like part of the family.

My father-in-law gets the care and support he needs. Staff are always good with him. They have always been very welcoming when we come to visit.

When visiting over the past seven months, have been made most welcome by the staff at the door and accompanied to the resident's room. Rooms were well kept but often the bed was unmade but did show linen changed daily. Always fresh clothes daily and clothes well laundered and hung up or returned to drawers. Staff always had time to take to bring me up to date with any health/medications, activities etc. Staff put on the tv or a DVD for entertainment and switched on the lava lamp for stimulation. I felt the care was really good.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for looking after our Mum. It was difficult for us when our Mum went into the home but you made it a lot easier for us. Your kindness and caring was very much appreciated and you all exceeded our expectations time and time again. You are very special people.
