Rumbling Bridge Care Home is set amongst idyllic gardens and provides residents with a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable environment in which they feel safe, secure and most importantly, at home.

Within Rumbling Bridge, there is two purpose-built Huntington’s units. These spacious and therapeutic environments were designed with consideration to the care needs of adults with Huntington’s disease and the challenging behaviours that can be associated with the condition.

A full range of caring support including residential, nursing and respite care is available. The team also specialise in Alzheimer's, Dementia and Huntington's care and are fully trained to meet the specific care needs of each resident. Delivering a person-centred approach is essential for all residents within the home.

it was 1st time here. Am feeling anxious about it i settled in really well. The staff are amazing and I got on really well with all. I had a couple of incidents with another resident but the staff were very quick to make sure it was sorted out and I was ok. I will hope be bk in 2026 xx

I've had relatives stay or live in three different care homes and have visited most of the homes in Perthshire. Rumbling Bridge stands out from all the rest because of the staff. Uniquely, the staff here seem happy and keen to help, which makes all the difference. Despite many visits, Rumbling Bridge
never smelled like a toilet (many do - it means they're too short staffed to deal with anything quickly), and nobody was asleep in their soup. They try their best to treat everyone with respect.

Staff are very attentive to all of mum's needs. She has fitted in really well and settled down quickly. The environment is lovely and has a really chilled feel about the whole place. Mum is engaging with the other residents, who all make her feel at home. We have nothing but praise for all the staff
who are looking after mum. Fantastic Place.

Fantastic place which meets my father's needs. Staff are amazing and have made us feel very welcome. Nothing is ever an issue and any requests have been followed up very promptly. My parents had an urgent admission. I have been really happy with all the staff at Rumbling Bridge these last days since Mum and Dad arrived. They have been really attentive and caring and have gone above and beyond to help them settle.

My mum is currently in Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home. She is receiving excellent care from all the staff, nurses and chefs. The staff are always friendly, helpful and understanding with all the residents. They always welcome you with a smile and nothing is any trouble for them. Great team of staff.

Excellent care from all staff, they are all extremely well trained, especially dealing with Huntington patients. I always find staff helpful and pleasant. The manager is excellent, the care home has a bright, pleasant feeling since she came back, management are always visible and happy to update me
