Excellent care from all staff, they are all extremely well trained, especially dealing with Huntington patients. I always find staff helpful and pleasant. The manager is excellent, the care home has a bright, pleasant feeling since she came back, management are always visible and happy to update me on my husband, they feel like part of the family.

When visiting over the past seven months, have been made most welcome by the staff at the door and accompanied to the resident's room. Rooms were well kept but often the bed was unmade but did show linen changed daily. Always fresh clothes daily and clothes well laundered and hung up or returned to drawers. Staff always had time to take to bring me up to date with any health/medications, activities etc. Staff put on the tv or a DVD for entertainment and switched on the lava lamp for stimulation. I felt the care was really good.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for looking after our Mum. It was difficult for us when our Mum went into the home but you made it a lot easier for us. Your kindness and caring was very much appreciated and you all exceeded our expectations time and time again. You are very special people.

Overall Experience

My wife has now been at Rumbling Bridge Care Home for over 4 years. In that time she has been looked after so well it made the guilt a little bit easier on me. The staff are second to none. They always have time for my wife and myself. The home has no cases of COVID-19, which is a real weight off my mind. They made arrangements for my wife to Skype with my two daughters and myself. I am proud to say my wife is a resident at this care home. I will never be able to thank them enough.

My father joined Rumbling Bridge this year at a time he needed support and so did I. I can't express my feelings and my father's since he has called Rumbling Bridge his home and my additional home. Meals are a delight for him. He enjoys choices and I can also have lunch or dinner with him. Staff are kind and pleasant, always aware of his and my needs.

My mother has lived at Balhousie Rumbling Bridge for just over three years she is 98. Over that time I have been very impressed by the care she receives. My mum has dementia and we have good days and not so good days but the staff really work hard at supporting her in a very person centred way. Today was Easter Day and there was an entertainer and mum was joining in with the singing. Everyone got an Easter egg and had Easter Bonnets. It is always nice to visit and spend quality time with my mum and to know too that if they have any concerns regarding her health I will be contacted immediately. I still feel very involved in mum's care and feel that the staff work in partnership with me and are open to suggestions.
