I couldn't be happier with how Mum is looked after. I don't worry about her at all, knowing that she is cared for as if she is family.

My mother in law has now been here for a few months and I have to say it's taken the worries off our shoulders. Lucky for us they could take her on short notice and we haven't looked back. All the staff is brilliant, dealing with what ever comes. The premises are very nice and the food is good. We
have just positive things to say.

The Ridings is always clean. The staff are all very helpful and caring of all residents. The residents all appear to be well cared for. There is plenty of entertainment.

I recently visited a relative at The Ridings, and I was very happy with the way I was treated. All of the staff were happy and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
I am very pleased with the way my relative is being cared for at The Ridings.

My father-in-law recently had his mobility scooter stolen from the town centre. As he is a regular visitor to the care home to visit his wife, losing his means of mobility meant a massive loss to his independence. The care home arranged a long-term loan of a mobility scooter to replace his stolen
one.
This has now given him his freedom back, and he is extremely grateful to all of the staff for this incredibly kind and helpful gesture.

Its just a general review in relation to the day to day findings at the home. The staff are extreemly hard working and there seems to be a good atmosphere throughout.

Lovely care home to visit, friendly, helpful, safe, clean and tidy. Food is always excellent. Activities and various areas to sit and relax. Very nice garden, which is quiet and peaceful. Well done, team Ridings.

Mostly The Ridings is a good place to live. The carers are very friendly but sometimes I wish they had more time to help me with things. My room is lovely as I can sit and watch what is going on outside.

Mum seems very settled and happy at The Ridings. She is very well cared for and enjoys their lovely food. Her carers are all lovely and kind. The Ridings has a friendly, caring atmosphere.

We were familiar with this Care Home for another relative, and so chose it for my parents based on previous experience. I feel that when I approached them again the manager was friendly, reassuring about the process, very helpful and very flexible about a start date for care ie in the New Year, so
held the rooms for me. On arrival, we were met and welcomed. A little left to our own devices perhaps, but maybe this helped with a no fuss, smooth transition. I have been proactive about seeking info, passing on info and general finding out about systems etc, but everyone I have sought help from has promptly responded. I had a query about my parents being encouraged to join in a bit more and feel this will be addressed. I have at this point great confidence in the three-way relationship I hope to develop with the home., myself and my parents. PS It's too early to comment on activities, and value for money with homes - this kind of care is just genuinely expensive, so not a criticism here!

From my very first visit to The Ridings, I have been very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Although I haven't seen them, the meals sound very appetising.

The Ridings is a lovely place for my sister to live. She has mental health issues which make it impossible for her to live on her own and the staff are wonderful at handling her, particularly when she gets stressed. It is a great relief for her family to have her so well cared for, and for her to
have her own flat, not just a room. Her main carer is amazing.

In the few months of my mother moving into The Ridings full-time, we have been very happy with her care. She seems very happy and stimulated. This comes a some relief to us. She really enjoys all the activities and trips out. The staff are always helpful, friendly and professional at all times.

The Ridings is like a homely and friendly guest house and is always full of chattering and activity. Mum absolutely loves it here and we have complete peace of mind that Mum is safe, warm and happy.
