View Full Details of Rushden Park Nursing HomeLovely care home. Excellent friendly staff and so welcoming. So happy to know mum is being looked after so well. Also a big thank you for looking after my dad when he visits mum. So glad we chose this care home for mum.
I cannot praise the staff at Rushden park nursing home enough. The care my father was given up to his death was just amazing the staff there were always happy and supportive. Nothing was too much trouble for them and my father's last days were very comfortable and dignified. The home was always extremely clean, warm and very well decorated.
From the moment my father-in-law arrived at the home the team has been fantastic. They made him welcome, got to know him very quickly, gave him a great choice of meals and generally made a fuss of him. Staff were friendly, attentive and supported family really well. We were delighted that they brought him the home's Parrot into his room, he loved animals and this was the highlight of his day. I work in the care home industry and this has got to be one of the best experiences I've had. Well done team Rushden Park.
Can't thank the staff enough really, since my mum came out of hospital she's being looked after so well. All the staff I've meet have being kind and caring towards mum and all mums family and friends. Sometimes people are false in their work but not Rushden care home. It's a big weight of our shoulders that mums settled for now. Less to think about for all the family. Leaving more time to get back to normal ish. Thank you Paul mums Son.
My husband has been at Rushden Park for 12 weeks so far. The staff are always happy and ready to help. Nothing is too much trouble.
After a number of weeks in hospital, mum transferred to Rushden Park Nursing Home. With various health conditions, including Alzheimer's and needing 24/7 care, the nursing staff and carers have been lovely, meeting all of mum's care needs. They are approachable and do seem to care for mum. I feel reassured that she is being well looked after.
Very welcoming place, excellent staff always happy to help with any problems you may have.
My mother moved into Rushden Park Nursing Home following a stay in hospital. She was elderly, frail and suffered from advanced Alzheimer's. Within the first few months of her stay, her physical condition had improved hugely as a result of the excellent nursing and care she received. Although confined to bed and totally dependent as a result of her deteriorating illness, my mother was always clean, well-presented and well-dressed, and she looked calm, comfortable and relaxed. Her room was fresh, light and airy, and always clean. This care and attention continued throughout her time at Rushden Park and my family and I have nothing but gratitude and praise for the wonderful staff responsible for looking after my mother during her final months of life.
Husband had 2 weeks respite so I (main carer) could have a holiday, this was his first stay at a nursing home. He was a bit unsettled to start with but upon my return I found him fine and happy. He said he felt safe and secure during his stay, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Food was very good and tasty. He said occasionally it took a while for bell to be answered, but knowing my husband and his condition he may not have pressed the bell as he doesn't like to ask for help and will try to do it himself but he's not capable of doing much. He is more than happy to return for another stay. I found the staff all very helpful and friendly and certainly happy to book him in again for another break. Thank you for taking good care of him.
All the staff are all very helpful and very friendly. We can always ask a member of staff about my mum's care at the home. Also, can always get parking outside the care home.
On arrival first impression was how clean and pleasant surrounding, didn't feel like a care home. Staff very friendly and helpful, food excellent choice and presentation. Overall no complaints.
Right from the start I have been impressed with the home and staff. The rooms are bright and airy with lovely views of the garden. Staff have been helpful with transition into new home. Resident enjoys the activities that are in place especially the church services. As resident has only been in new home for a month my review is limited but so far so good.
Our mum receives good care mostly, takes over 10 mins at some times to answer call bells. Would be good if resident/relatives meetings could be after 4 pm to allow more relatives to attend . The food is always prepared and presented well
We put our relative into Rushden Park for 2 weeks respite care, we found the home modern, clean & well appointed. All the staff were wonderful from carers to domestic staff. Rooms were nice & food well varied. My relative enjoyed her stay especially the activities & church. My relative would happily return should we need. I would recommend this home to anyone.
My Father was in hospital for six weeks, and it was difficult to get there to see him. We are so glad he was at Rushden Park as all of his relatives were able to come to see him. All of the carers and nurses were very kind and caring. When my Dad arrived he had his hair combed and was given a shave, which hadn't happened in hospital. His clothes were changed daily and he was made very comfortable in bed, even when he was no longer conscious. Thank you.
My Father went into Rushden Park Care Home in May 2024 and despite his initial resentment at having to accept he needed full-time care, as he was confined to bed. The staff showed great patience and tolerance always, which resulted in the staff and my Dad building up a friendship and respect. We were always kept informed at every step of his care and we have nothing but praise for the home, and staff and would recommend to anyone.
Always clean and tidy. Staff are always very friendly and helpful with any questions. Treat my parents with dignity and kindness.
Always a happy place to visit, very welcoming. Had dinner with my mother-in-law, food was amazing, all fresh. Staff go above and beyond to help. Shopping trolley available for people that can't get out and about.
I cannot speak highly enough of this care home and its staff. My mother was only there a week at the end of her life but she was looked after so well and treated with love, dignity, and care. I wish I had managed to get her there sooner. Every member of the team looked after her with such love and respect. It's also a beautiful care home in a lovely setting - Mum's room was perfect and full of light overlooking the garden. Thank you so much for everything you did - Rushden Park Care Home.
I have been a resident here for 5 years and it is better now than it has ever been. I feel the manager is interested in my welfare as are the majority of the other staff. We could really do with volunteers to help with things like manicures, coffee rounds, and outings. Staff do their best in the time allowed. One member of staff in particular is very good at caring. We have a variety of needs which makes caring very difficult.
