Wife went in from hosptial after a fall and a blood clot, which left her unable to walk. The physio team were fantastic, giving her plenty of their time. After a few weeks, she was up and walking, all be it with a frame. After being home a few days, she now walks with me, just holding her hand and no frame. This would not have been possible without their patience and kindness.

Having cared for my wife for nearly 18 months I know what a difficult task your staff have to deal with. I don't think my wife could be in better hands. Your carers and nurses have treated her with the utmost care. The way they have conducted themselves leave nothing to desire. My wife is very fussy eater but has found the food much to her liking .

My experience here. The staff and the people here are all lovely, and the food is very good. I have liked being here. Met some nice other residents and made friends.

I was welcomed when entering the care home with tea and biscuits, and was most pleased with the room and accessories provided. Most of the nursing staff are happy to help with minor tasks or anything I didn't understand; both female and male staff are always willing to help. I enjoyed the exercise classes, which encouraged us all to try harder. Hairdressers were a great pick-me-up, and having lunch together was good.

I have found all members of the team at Westgate very professional and supportive with a kind and caring touch. They have made my stay here more pleasant than it would have been in the circumstances.

After an accident I arrived here on a stretcher and am learning after 6 weeks walking. Have had excellent care and treatment from the staff who have been like a second family for the short time. The atmosphere here is so good everything is clean and fresh. I'm happy to recommend this rehabilitation and care home to everyone.

All the staff here have been very kind and caring. The physio team have been amazing. I couldn't walk when I came in, so I am going home with a stick. It is a friendly rehab centre and you are encouraged to socialise.

I find the whole experience excellent. The staff have been amazing, my carer has helped me with any fears and made me feel at ease. My confidence and mobility have improved drastically. Thank you to all the staff .

I was taken into Westgate House after a fall and thanks to the staff who were very friendly and helpful I am now back home. The physio lady used to oversee a Keep Fit Session 5 days a week to help residents regain their mobility using Zimmers - rollating along the corridors. The staff were like a happy family and would help each other out.

The staff have all been excellent whilst my father has been at Westgate House Care Centre. Friendly, approachable and willing to help, I would recommend Westgate House to anyone looking for care.

When we first arrived we were welcomed by the manager and receptionist who were very friendly. Although my husband was only there for a short time we found all the staff to be very helpful, polite and respectful. The carers/nurses were very understanding, when you called for them there were no long waits. The center was very clean and secure. In his final hours everyone was very understanding and caring, and treated him with dignity and respect.

I was referred from hosptial to Westgate House, Ware for physical rehabilitation after suffering from double pneumonia. Throughout my 3 week stay, I was made to feel very well supported, listened to and cared for by all the staff. Such a positive experience after two different hospital stays. I now feel stronger, fitter and better equipped with getting my old life back for good. Everyone could not have done more, and can genuinely not rate the care any higher!

My father was a resident at Westgate Care Home and from day one, every member of staff-nurses, carers, activity coordinators, doctors, catering and housekeeping-has treated Dad with genuine warmth, patience and dignity. Dad can be challenging and occasionally aggressive because of his condition, yet the team consistently responds with calm professionalism. They de-escalate difficult moments, keep us fully informed, and-most importantly-maintain Dad's sense of self-respect. His medication is managed meticulously, meals are nutritious and tailored to his tastes, and the home is spotless and welcoming.

It has been a pleasant expierence with a high standard or care, professionalism and dedication. The therapy team worked hard to achieve the best possible outcomes to patients. I saw the progress made by other patients. This is an excellent facility for ex-hosptial patients discharged and to be helped towards the next stage - home, care home, etc.

Being in Respite for a couple of weeks has given my wife a boost in life which other locations lacked. Personnel are caring, responsive and treat residents with respect. Expensive like most care homes but well recommended.
