My mum was attacked my a male dementia patient in November he thought he was a boxer he bust her nose punched her in the head several times,back and her chest,when the deputy manager rang me she seemed far more concerned about him than my own mum ,when my husband went to the home and asked what had happened she said you tell me and waved her hands in the air.

We were very concerned about how my Nan would settle in to care , she was welcomed with open arms and has settled in excellently! She's now like a new woman now she is getting the care she deserves. She has received nothing but exceptional care

Our experience with Kingsfield Care Home was truly outstanding. The care workers were exceptionally kind, compassionate, and supportive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our family member felt comfortable and well cared for during his respite stay. It was clear that the team had taken the time to get to know him personally, which gave us great confidence in the level of care and attention he received. He felt safe, valued, and very much at home-so much so that he was reluctant to leave. He speaks very fondly of his time at Kingsfield and has already expressed a strong desire to return. He particularly enjoyed the activities on offer and often shares how much he liked taking part. We are deeply grateful to the Kingsfield team for making his stay so enjoyable and meaningful. Thank you!

I have always found Kingsfield to be a caring, welcoming residence. The staff are very committed, hard-working and treat all residents with respect and dignity. Perhaps a small garden would be beneficial. But a very friendly home from home.

Since my aunty moved into Kingsfield, she is very happy. She does not want to move as often says this is family. Her room is lovely and she is very happy. Staff care for my aunty very well. We are very happy with Kingsfield.

Visited Nanna in the lounge and she was happy and interacting with others. The activities were going on and all were encouraged to join in, it was lovely.

I have visited Kingsfield Residential Care Home on many occasions to see Dad. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The care that Dad receives is outstanding. All staff display these same levels of care and attention. I can therefore commend Kingsfield as a superb residential care home and wish to thank them for their unwavering commitment.

The resident's sister and I visit once a month. We always feel welcome and comfortable. Having seen the condition both were in before coming here it was a relief to see them both looking so well cared for. Both of them looked well-nourished, clean and much better. There is a lovely atmosphere here and always smells fresh. Having been in care employment myself everyone seems happy and content. We leave without any issues.

My friend seems very settled (most of the time). Her diagnosis is Alzheimer's dementia-so occasional changes in demeanour are to be expected. Her moments of 'changed' behaviour seem much less than when at home. She is always clean, though sometimes incontinent of urine there has never been any smell on her in her room (only once) or in any public areas. Her room has been decorated recently (09/02/2023). The staff always are patient, helpful and kind in their 'dealing' with my friend. Very happy with her care.

I have no problems with my mum's care. She has settled in well. She never has a bad word to say about anything. She is well looked after and happy.

Wonderful and experienced staff. Very caring and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for residential care. Very attentive to the care needs of the clients and helpful to the friends and family.

I have always felt welcome and listened to, the manager and staff keep me well informed regarding my relative's care and wellbeing. There is a calm and cheerful atmosphere within the home and the residents are always clean, tidy and well cared for.

My mother was with Kingsfield for five years from the age of 84 after a diagnosis of dementia. Initially, she was able to engage in her usual hobbies and interests in the wider community with the support of family and friends. This individual preference was respected and supported within Kingsfield. Later, her needs changed but she was able to continue to have a good quality of life within the home. Regular chiropody and hairdressing visits were much appreciated. There were parties, live music and other entertainments provided too plus an activities co-ordinator providing additional time and attention for individuals. The standard of care was excellent with committed and professional staff providing a personal and loving environment so that it had a family atmosphere rather than an institutional one.
