View Full Details of Clarendon House Care HomeMade the first visit which was nervewracking as a visitor really wonderful. It is a calm inviting environment that nan seems to be thriving in.
The staff have been amazing with my mother in law, helping us through a difficult period of moving into care. The team have been highly responsive to our needs, and been very quick to bring her into the little gang at Clarendon. The daily entertainments are something we could never provide, and the social media updates are wonderful to watch.
I was so worried about leaving my mum in a care home as we have never been in this situation before. The manager and her wonderful staff immediately put my mind at rest. They are calm, caring, respectful and kind. I am able to get back to normality (I cared and lived with mum for two months) knowing she is part of a small but caring home. I am so very grateful.
Always greeted warmly. Calm environment. Really care about residents. Always respectful
A staff member in particular is always very welcoming & extremely friendly. She helps us feel comfortable and relaxed when we visit bringing drinks & biscuits. Any questions we ask are always answered clearly & messages passed on when requested. Such a caring & thoughtful person, she has done my mother in laws hair & really takes the time to make things feel like home.
What a wonderful facility! The care home has such kind staff and really lovely management. A home from home feel about the place. Staff give a warm welcome to residents and visitors alike. There is a can do attitude. The bedrooms are clean and tidy; cleanliness is excellent. I would highly recommend this care home as a brilliant place for loved ones. Residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. There is a feeling of safety and security for the residents.
The staff care is kind and lovely, very professional. Family atmosphere.
My mother required respite care, and I managed to find a bed at Clarendon House Care Home. The manager visited me the same day I telephoned, and my mother was taken to Clarendon House the following day. Since her arrival, I have always found the staff attentive, and very caring, The senior staff constantly ask if there is any issue, and all changes to diet or patient needs are recorded and implemented. Every time I am allowed into the building I am met with a smile from staff who answer the door, taken to my mother's room, and even provided with refreshment. I feel so fortunate that my mother is in Clarendon House, and am grateful to all staff and management for all they do to look after my mother.
We needed to find emergency respite care for my dad and the home has been so accommodating to this. They made the process easy in difficult circumstances for the family and appreciated their responsiveness to the situation. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and we know that my dad is safe and being cared for by them. They are very welcoming when we visit and helpful if we have any questions.
Lovely staff, great sense of humour and very caring.
Staff are always pleasant and welcoming. More importantly, my sister is well cared for.
Very compassionate, staff are amazing, they can not do enough and managers are so attentive to all our needs. They go above and beyond as my mum is Punjabi and doesn't speak English. Your kindness and attention to detail has meant the world to us, and we are truly grateful. The home is clean and tidy. We chose this home because it had a real family feel, which was important. It's not a big home but this way my mum is not just a number and gets a lot more care on a one to one basis. We are eternally grateful for all you do for our mum.
My friend has been a resident at Clarendon House for a few months now. The staff all are very helpful and amazing to all their residents. Lots of activities and interaction it is rewarding to see.
My mother has only been here for a short period of time but in that time, she has been very well cared for by the people working here and this can be seen in how happy she now appears to be.
My mum has been at Clarendon House since January 2023. As a family, we found it a difficult decision to make, but it has turned out to be the best choice for her. Clarendon House truly feels like a home away from home. The staff are incredibly kind and genuinely care about my mum's well-being. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and their care and consideration extends to our family during our visits.
My lovely older sister has resided in here for a couple of years. My brother in law has only good things to say about this place and the excellent care my sister receives. Staff and management have been great, supportive, professional and very caring. My sister is very contented here and taken very good care of, just what people are looking for.
I have a very dear friend at Clarendon House. She is looked after with great care and compassion by the team. Her individual needs are met by the staff who are professional, efficient and attentive. It is a happy, inclusive home where the residents are cared for in a comfortable, clean, safe environment.
I visited my relative and was treated to lunch - that was the biggest surprise of the day. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a nice day, I recommend this place to everyone.
My mother-in-law has been in Clarendon House Care Home for 2 weeks after repeated falls at home. She was reluctant to come and at first wanted to go home, however she has settled very well and looks well looked after. The staff are all very friendly. My father-in-law has been in Clarendon House Care Home for past 3 weeks following discharge from hospital. It is obvious to look at him that he is being well cared for. When he came he was unable to walk and today when we visited he was walking with his frame.
Welcoming, friendly, positive, what more do you need. Well done. Thank you.
