View Full Details of Graysford HallOverall we have been happy with the care provided at Graysford Hall. It's an attractive buiding and the rooms are spacious. My father does not mix with other residents so one of our concerns is lack of stimulation and the care team are aware. Management of the home has had its challenges and there have been 3 managers to date, which is difficult for staff & carers. Previously, there have been issues with weekend staffing, particularly management, but I understand this is being addressed. Personal care has been good & they have been very kind to my father.
Facilities and staff are all amazing - the improvement in Dad's health has been incredible while he has been a resident here. His bedroom is much bigger (and nicer) than other care homes I looked at, lovely garden, the food is tasty and there are plenty of trips and activities. It's great that friends and relatives (and pets!) are encouraged to visit and all have said how welcome they have felt. Communication with the family has also been exceptional, which is so valuable during a stressful time.
My dad was initially reluctant to move out of his home into residential care but his move to Graysford Hall has gone very well. The facilities for the residents are excellent with superb gardens for the residents to relax in when the weather allows. My dad has settled quickly into his spacious and well fitted room. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing seems too much trouble to them. My dad has made new friends and got to enjoy a number of the activities which are regularly on offer. Dad has always enjoyed his food and is well pleased with the variety and quality of food at Graysford. Friends who have visited dad have unprompted commented how impressed they are with the staff and facilities at Graysford Hall.
Amazed at the quality of the reception area and beyond. Bedrooms so large and again quality of furniture. most important staff making myself feel that this is the care home for my sister. Care is put in to all aspects of residents.
Thank you so much for your care for my aunt during her last days and hours, and prior to that. I always felt when visiting that the staff were friendly, and very importantly respectful to my aunt and her needs, even though she could be a bit prickly, due to her dementia, and pain. I am so glad she was in this caring environment for her last months.
Left Mum for respite care. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. When I came to collect Mum she looked so happy and settled. It seemed she had made good connections with all the staff and the staff were genuine in their attachment with Mum. Very happy and will be bringing Mum back for respite. It's lovely to know how well cared for Mum was, thank you all.
My friend is staying at Graysford Hall whilst her flat is refurbished. I had a delicious meal with my friend. The food, staff and surroundings were brilliant.
I have been visiting Graysford three or four times a week for over six months to visit a resident that I cared for, for over five years, when she was living independently. My overall opinion of Graysford is excellent, staff work very hard to make life for their residents as pleasurable as possible, they are friendly and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and the day to day running of Graysford is excellent. I would highly recommend to my family and friends.
Graysford Hall is a beautiful and bright, welcoming place. So clean and all the staff are friendly. Always a nice atmosphere, when visiting. I would highly recommend Graysford Hall.
Everybody is very friendly and treats my dad with the dignity we expect.
We as a family chose Graysford Hall after a long and heart-searching decision. We feel that we could not have chosen anywhere that our dad would have been so well cared for. All the staff are excellent and we feel happy to know that our dad is being treated with the respect that he so much deserves. We would like to thank you all for your dedicated care.
We have been to a number of homes to inform our final decision. Graysford Hall stood out from them all as I found the facilities outstanding and the staff warm and welcoming. The care and attention offered are exemplary and I love the way in which family members are encouraged to visit and become involved in the home life.
My father is very happy here. He is always busy and involved. The care is exceptional, the staff are more like family and always go the extra mile. As a family, I feel informed, consulted and comfortable to talk to the manager and the team whenever I need to.
The only reason that I awarded food and drink anything less than excellent is because my aunt likes her tea very hot and it is only served warm - no doubt due to safety, residents could be scalded. My brother and I are delighted to have discovered Graysford Hall. It is a beautiful purpose-built care home with every possible facility. All the staff are kind, friendly, helpful, patient and clearly happy in their work.
Graysford Hall is a stunning care home. A beautiful modern home. The staff are really helpful and kind. The food is very good.
We had to find a care home for my father in an emergency when his condition suddenly deteriorated. From the first call to Graysford Hall, right through admission and at every moment since, Dad's care has been extremely good. Graysford Hall staff are all caring and know every resident personally, providing a home from home and allowing us to continue to be a family, just in a new environment.
Our mother's stay was wonderful, she was at home, relaxed and showered with love and care. She was always joyful when we checked on her well-being. The activities engaged her and enabled her to make friends. The chefs took extra care to cater to her gastronomic needs. Spacious room, well maintained and the cleanliness of a very high standard. A truly wonderful and memorable stay. Thank you so very much. God bless.
Graysford Hall, in my opinion, has exceptional standards for care, cleanliness and facilities. The overall experience of my mother's care has been outstanding. Would not hesitate to recommend.
At the beginning, Mum came with a bit of trepidation but as the days went by, she was extremely relaxed. She enjoyed the staff support, the food, the chefs, the activities and even the residents. Every day when I called, she used to relate, with great excitement, all that was happening. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay and that gave us peace of mind. Thank you to all at Graysford Hall.
Our Dad has been a resident for the last year and a half. He has been so well cared for during that time, we really couldn’t have wished for a better place for Dad to be in his final chapter. It was very apparent how attentive and truly caring all the staff were, no matter what was asked of them. Thank you to all at Graysford for welcoming Dad into your special family and looking after him so well.
