Overall experience is very pleasant, out Aunt is treated with care & dignity, the Rooms are lovely, the food is excellent and the staff are always very nice the only thing I would say is there is not always enough of them due to short staff issues.
They always provide good Activities for for the
residents & they have improved on the security & safety in the home.
Overall we are very pleased how our Aunt is being looked after.

First of all do not judge a book by it's cover. This place looks lovely , but no carers who care ! No nurses available when needed , waiting long time for buzzer to be answered , staff speaking in their own language, around Mom, not addressing her by her name ! Often found staff standing around in
communal areas on their phones when needed.
No routine , food cold no help to eat Medication , never at regular times , Mom skin was cut several times , and equipment not up to standard , hoists not padded ! On last day Mom was left in the kitchen area on her own.
little stimulation and activity available for residents. Virtually nil effort to provide one to one social contact. Very poor communication with families, and no understanding of residents medical needs took 2 weeks to get her registered with GP .Numerous other relatives had concerns. We moved Mom to a loving caring home for her last few weeks of life , and so pleased we did, she was treated with respect and dignity, and loved.

Mum is very happy and content at Blossomfield Rose. All staff are always helpful and polite and all seem to know mum by name. She has been resident for around 6 months now and have never had any cause to complain. Can't list all the staff members as there are so many but they all seem to genuinely
care for the residents and their families.

Disappointing. We felt pressured into signing contracts as our parents were new to care, but our struggles seemed less important than our money. We barely heard from managers after that. Many issues eg lost laundry (I was told "that happens all the time" by staff ), food that was rather mediocre
quality and served cool, breakfast in particular regularly took ages to be served, TVs not working properly, newspapers not delivered, medication not arriving until the day it was actually required. Very little stimulation and activity available for residents. No trips. Hardly anything going on at weekends. Virtually nil effort to provide one to one social contact. The gym is barely used as it's hard to get someone to take residents and help them. Very poor communication with families. Numerous other relatives had concerns. TBF some genuinely nice carers, but overall dysfunctional and objectively badly run. We moved after 4 months. No effort made to discuss our reasons. Style over substance.

Beyond excellent in every way. A swift move into here was facilitated by an excellent team of staff. My mother has been helped immeasurably by everyone to settle and has gone from existing' on her own at home, to 'living' in here. The social buzz and vibe suits her down to the ground. Huge thanks to
everyone for their continued support, kindness and dedication to looking after my mum.

Joy seems settled and staff are caring and supportive. Only concern is laundry which seems to be very varied. A lot of clothing disappears and items that require ironing are not returned ironed.

Mum was admitted to Blossomfield Rose after getting to a point where living at home, even with care support, became impossible. Her time at BR was all too short, but the care and compassion that she received during her short time there was incredible. The home itself is beautiful and to a very high
standard, but it is the personal care and attention that are the standouts. Dad spent a little time with the home also, earlier in the year, before he passed away - so Blossomfield Rose has been a really important part of a difficult time for the family. We have to call out specifically the care and attention we received from the manager of mum's floor - Sally - but every single member of staff were exceptional. We are very grateful and highly recommend Blossomfield Rose to anyone making these decisions at what can be a very difficult time.
