My mum has settled very well at Greathed Manor, it's homely warm and friendly. The care is exeptional! All the staff are amazing. I alway's enjoy visiting my mum here and she's very happy.

The team at this nursing home has been absolutely wonderful in caring for my mum. The staff are very patient, and genuinely dedicated to her wellbeing. Her needs are respected and supported every day. The environment is always clean and welcoming, and they always have great activities to make her, and even myself, feel included. I'm incredibly grateful for the outstanding care she receives-truly a place that treats residents like family.

Please improve your catering both vegitarian and 'normal' menu - both are not good enough even inedible when good food is essential for the residents' well-being! Better chefs should be employed! Wonderful garden! Please improve lifts - better maintenance required as constant breakdowns are unacceptable.

My father was treated with empathy and dignity at Greathed Manor. He was well cared for and his needs were always catered for. He was treated with respect by the staff. He felt safe at Greathed. When he moved the staff helped me to make it as seamless as possible to make sure my father wasn't distressed.

Mum stayed here for 2 weeks respite in August. She suffers from Alzheimers so was a bit confused to start with but the staff were compassionate, efficient and super friendly; she soon settled down. The grounds are beautiful and I know she appreciated being able to wander outside fairly independently. Such a stunning location and building; her memory of being there is that she was in a hotel! She had a good sized room on the top floor and liked to sit and watch the deer and wildlife in the fields beyond. Would definitely recommend.

My father has been at Greathed Manor for 3 weeks now. I am going to struggle to put into words how happy he is, he absolutely loves the home. The staff are excellent, all very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The food is excellent and dad has commented on it often. The peace of mind the family and I feel, knowing dad is safe, surrounded by caring people is wonderful. Well done all and a heartfelt thank you from me.

Fabulous care and concern for my uncle and his well being. Thoughtful communications with me and above and beyond actions (staff using personal phone to allow a video call). Beautiful property and grounds. Thank you!

As a regular visitor to my neighbour, I have been impressed by the friendliness of all those at Greathed Manor, from all the carers including the maintenance man. My neighbour has needs of medical/nursing care which she has received and also encouragement to get out of bed which has been given with understanding.

Although my mother was in Grathed Manor for a short amount of time (3 months) for end-of-life care, she was treated with the greatest dignity and respect. All the carers and staff were so gentle and kind to her, making the last few months of her life as comfortable and peaceful as she could have wished. I am so grateful to everybody at Greathed Manor who was involved in her care. I cannot recommend this care home enough! Many thanks.

I have had experience of Greathed Manor for the last 2 years and I have found the home and staff to be exceptional. They treated my Mum with great care and compassion and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future.

We are more than happy with the home. The carers are all lovely kind people. We feel more than happy when we have visited our dad that he is in very safe hands. Would strongly recommend Greathed Manor to anyone who was looking for a home for a family member or friend.

All the staff are friendly and caring. Plenty of resources available to help look after Dad including a comfortable reclining wheelchair. The staff showed great affection towards Dad and the family. Good food and wine on offer which pleased Dad. Many activities and events some of which included family and friends. Lovely building and gardens in a delightful setting.

My mum arrived at Greathed Manor for a rehabilitation transfer after a nasty fall and 5 weeks in hospital. The level of care and compassion that has been shown to her during her time at Greathed Manor has been lovely. The staff have also been very supportive in making family decisions due to her change in care and have kept us briefed of her condition all the way. We have been so thankful for their help.

I have been visiting the home now for a number of years. Such wonderful, posh grounds and estate. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it is always a pleasure to pop in when I'm in the area. I would highly recommend Greathed Manor to anybody looking for care. Thank you so much to everyone at the home! You are all truly amazing.

My mum-in-law moved in at the beginning of October and was very apprehensive about leaving her own home. From day one she has been treated with kindness and dignity from every member of staff. There is a lovely caring atmosphere to the home, which has open-door visiting and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. The staff have been accommodating to requests and supportive towards her in her transition. Thank you so very much!

Dad was at Greathed Manor for over 3 months and the care he received was both professional and caring. The whole team of staff were brilliant, kind and supportive to Dad and all the family who visited him often. The home was very well managed, the food was very tasty and available for visitors when needed and the nursing and care staff were all very patient and supportive. The building itself is magnificent and yet homely and is located in beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. It was always such a welcoming and friendly place with plenty of activities and parties for those who wished to join in - including residents families and friends. I would highly recommend it.

All the staff were absolutely brilliant in supporting Mum with her dementia and being blind! Their patience and support were brilliant from day one until her passing. Highly recommended and in a great setting.

After a serious accident, my friend spent several weeks at Greathed Manor for recovery, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment he arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being. The level of care provided was first-class, with every member of the team demonstrating professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for my friend's recovery. The staff were attentive and compassionate, making sure all his needs were met promptly and with a smile. The environment is both serene and supportive, which played a significant role in aiding my friend's healing process. Greathed Manor offers not just a place to recover, but a community that genuinely cares about the well-being of its residents. I can't thank the staff enough for their dedication and the outstanding service they provided during such a challenging time. My friend left feeling stronger, healthier, and deeply appreciative of the wonderful care he received.
