My mum enjoyed her respite stay at the home. She complimented the food on a daily basis and the quantity of it. The room was nice, but the toilet was broken, and it took one week to fix it properly. We also requested a fan on numerous occasions due to the heat, but never received one. The room was boiling due to the heatwave. The care my mum received was very good, and she enjoyed her time, especially the music group.

When visiting my nana, I am always impressed with Acacia Mews. The staff here are lovely, always welcoming and helpful. and it is great to see how looked after my nana is. My family and I were treated to lunch in the private dining room for my nanas birthday, which a nice range of food options to pick from. I always look forward to returning.

I was very reluctant to come into the care home, but I have been pleasantly surprised. All of the staff have been very helpful, and all of the facilities are good. I have been very well looked after.

Thank you for such a lovely visit. We came for my Grandma's birthday lunch and had a delicious meal in the private lounge. The food was great! The staff are lovely - so helpful and friendly. My Grandma seems very happy here.

My 78 year old mum has been a resident at Acacia Mews for nearly three months, since March 2025. She has received superb care and has settled in extremely well. It was a major change for her having lived independently in a different part of the country but the management and staff have made this process as seamless as possible. My family cannot praise Acacia Mews highly enough. Genuinely kind, caring and helpful staff, excellent activities, lovely company and friendship with the other residents, and superb accommodation and food. We are so pleased out mum come to live here and she couldn't be happier following her move.

We feel fortunate to find this wonderful home for our mum. She has Parkinson's and now needs to leave her home of 50 years. The gentleman who initially showed us around was courteous, kind and understanding. And her more was managed brilliantly. She is now settling in and she, like us, is still learning about the home but we are sure she will be happy and have the quality of life we would wish for her.

My mum has been really poorly this month following hospitalisation. The care at Acacia Mews has been second to none. Mum has not wanted to eat, refused medication and wanting to stay in bed. The staff have been really dedicated in encouraging her out of bed, potentially offering her food she likes and giving her the attention she needs. She has been monitored by the doctor every week who have run extensive tests and prescribed the appropriate medication/treatment. I am very happy with Mum's care at the home and the professionalism and compassion of the staff. This has given me peace of mind in what otherwise could have been a turbulent month.

Having been disappointed with another care home in the area, we have been very happy with Acacia Mews in the 4 weeks my mum has been here. Her medication is given correctly and at the right time. The staff are courteous, friendly and professional. The food choices are varied, delicious and healthy. The accommodation in welcoming, attractive and clean. My mum's safety is well catered for. My mum feels happy and settled here.

All staff and management so kind and friendly, there is always a warm welcome. My father is well looked after and the care he received is excellent. Everyone ar Acacia Mews goes the extra mile to ensure their residents are happy, safe and every need met.

My mother is being cared for very well by the staff. We are informed of anything she may need so that we can make sure she has everything to make her stay as good as possible. My mother loves the food here and eats very well. There is one member of staff who we have contact with and she lets us know of my mother's needs and also she informs me of how my mother is doing and also if she needs any medical needs. My mother's care is first class and we have no complaints.

Overall care has been excellent. Staff always very helpful and keep the family informed as to our parents mental and physical wellbeing. Facilities are always clean and well kept.

Care generally good. Seems to have other peoples clothes on! Lounge does have a tinge of urine aroma. We are always kept informed. Manager is very competent.
