I am really grateful to the staff of Acacia Mews Care Home for the way they have looked after my mother during her first experience of respite care. They have been extremely caring to ensure she settled well and felt comfortable in her brand new environment. The staff have been supportive to me by listening to any concerns I had as a caring daughter, by quickly responding with appropriate action and reassurance. I am very happy that my mother has been able to socialise and enjoy activities with the residents and staff.

Acacia Mews is a lovely care home, can't fault anything, in fact I am so impressed that I would live here myself if I need to go into a care home.

We received a warm, friendly welcome. The home is very clean with lots of facilities. We had a Sunday meal and it was very nice.

Acacia was very welcoming from the moment we walked in; they were happy to answer all questions with no pressure. Staff are very warm and friendly and always smiling. Mum seems very happy, which is the most important thing.

My mum was recently moved into Acacia Mews and so far we are all delighted! The staff are all wonderful and have really taken time to get to know mum and help her settle in. Spacious, clean and with excellent facilities. I'm so glad we made the decision to come here!

Mum is with Acacia Mews for an initial 2 week respite visit. Our initial first impression is very favourable. A light, clean, spacious building with very attentive staff.

From the first moment we met all of the staff at Acacia Mews, it has been a real pleasure. My mother-in-law came and stayed for a few weeks for respite care. The home is warm and friendly, with beautiful rooms and a real home from home feeling. The care and support for my mother-in-law and for us as a family has been 1000%. Food and drink is amazing, where nothing is too much trouble. Medical care is exceptional. Acacia Mews is just a beautiful place.

The services provided by the team at Acacia Mews are excellent, and the staff are professional, experienced and empathetic. The facilities are first class. Unfortunately, my mother has not embraced the opportunity at this stage, choosing to return home for the time being.

My mum enjoyed her respite stay at the home. She complimented the food on a daily basis and the quantity of it. The room was nice, but the toilet was broken, and it took one week to fix it properly. We also requested a fan on numerous occasions due to the heat, but never received one. The room was boiling due to the heatwave. The care my mum received was very good, and she enjoyed her time, especially the music group.
